I feel like my mom is just patting my head and smiling and talking how was her day and I'm just thankful to God that i have this wonderful woman as my mother and i am honoured to be her son.... And then i woke up and realise it's been 14 years.... I lost her when in 2007 when i was 7... Now I'll be 21 in the next month..... This feels weird but.. sometimes it's hard for me to just let my tears out, it's difficult for me to cry. This song helps me with that, it helps me finally release all that's built up inside me. Don't be afraid to cry, it's only natural. It doesn't make you weak, it makes you strong. Its okay, just let it out. it will all be okay.

Every once in a while I don't cry when I'm sad just randomly tear up a little bit, but it's true mentally keeping it in doesn't work, it makes things worse some songs can help with that. They're maybe a day when you just break but from what I've been through pain and sadness just doesn't affect me. Ik maybe losing a close friend would put me over the edge but only God and time will tell Sorry, but I'd just recommend everyone just take a time and let it out it helps mentally physically and spiritually

I know that nobody will see this but i am still going to put this out here. While I was listening to this song I was wearing my father's old t shirt and he passed away few years ago . So when it said "in this shirt I can be you , I can be NEAR you " that felt so painful because all i have left of this beautiful and loving person are memories and material objects ....the warmth I feel from that one piece of fabric is so incredibly powerful that I can't explain it into words . Because I was a child when it happened and to a child thier parents are thier whole world to lose a half of that world in such an unexpected manner , it takes time to realise the true gravity of the loss you have suffered If you are reading this and you have suffered or are suffering through the devastating loss of losing someone I want you to know that you are not weak ....you are so strong and it's okay to be sad . Sometimes you need to let it out

He gave me life. We are all dead without Jesus but because he died for us and rose from the dead we can life through him. He came so that we can have life we don’t have to live in darkness. “... I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son that who ever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16 Perhaps you have already heard this and I don’t want to be pushy :) but I believe Jesus is the light we need to extinguish the darkness surrounding our lives. He makes us alive and brings us out of darkness into life. God loves you so much! I respect you greatly and your thoughts and opinions I just wanted to share what I believe because Jesus has the power to bring life and light. I could see the pictures of a unknow character being happy and everything you listed. And same as you it made me sad. Edit: character was fighting for their loved ones who were killed by the villan then they were fatally hit and so the love ones come to them and hold them in their hands saying its time for you too while the villan see the person talking to nobody plus the villan is one of their friends trying to help the main character get over with the loses and so the fight after the 'villan' and as the main character is dying with this song and the songs beats it shows flashback of the characters life. Then the 'villan' says to the main person with tears rolling down their eyes "I was trying to help you. Fight it... dont go. We're almost to the hospital." Main person dies saying "thanks for your help."

i cant even tell you how many times I've listened to this... I listen to it EVERY single night before i go to bed on repeat. I don't know but something about it is just so beautiful it makes me emotional but not in the sad way necessarily. There is just something about it. I cant really put it into words but this is by far my favorite version of any other song I've ever heard. Thank you so much for making this. Really.

Never in my life have I been able to cry… not even during the most saddening of events… everytime something bad happens, I always respond to it with anger and hate… anger and hate for something I couldn’t control, it’s destructive and I hate that about myself.

When I listen to sad songs, I don´t see it as a self harm that you add to your sadness, I see it as a way to fill the songs with your sadness and hopefully letting it go. I had my first "having a dad" experience and that lasted for over five years up until now. Today that happy and toxic dream has come to an end. A bitter end, an end that hurt me in a way that I cannot longer recover what I lost. And all the things you shouldn´t say, all the feelings you should not make anyone feel, that "dad" told me and made me feel today. I hope that by the end off all the song I´m gonna listen tonight, I can set that sadness free.

i have moments when i feel empty inside, like i want to cry for no reason but i don't have any tears left. i don't have a sad story to share, besides the fact that even when i'm surrounded by all the people i love, i can't find my place and i feel lost, like i want to do so much but i have so little time. sometimes i listen to my sad playlist on quiet nights to see if i even have any feelings left, because i just feel so numb. i could be having the best months of my life, going out, partying and just feeling myself, and then in the blink of an eye, i can't even hang out with my friends without feeling drained. i want everyone reading this to know that things do get better eventually, and i know that sounds pathetic at this point, but you are so much stronger than you know. stay strong and keep looking forward to the sunny days ahead, and know that you're not alone
