LYRICS I am lost in our rainbow Now our rainbow has gone Overcast by your shadow As our worlds move on In this shirt, I can be you To be near you for a while In this shirt, I can be you To be near you for a while There's a crane Knocking down All those things That we were I awake In the night to hear the engines purr There's a pain It does ripple Through my frame, makes me lame There's a thorn in my side It's the shame, it's the pride Of you and me Ever changing Moving on now Moving fast And his touch Must be wanted Must become Through your ask But I need Jake to tell you That I love you It never rests And I've bled every day now For a year For a year I did send you a note On the wind for to read Our names there together Must have fallen like a seed To the depths of the soil Buried deep in the ground On the wind, I could hear you Call my name, held the sounds I am lost I am lost, in our rainbow Now our rainbow has gone I am lost, in our rainbow Now our rainbow has gone I am lost I am lost I am lost I am lost I am lost

Imagine this song, at the end of your fulfilling life, on a hospital bed, going through your memories about the places you visited and what you accomplished. When the song hits "I am lost" You close your eyes and when you open them next time you are on a green field, on a sunny Day and you hear a "Hey", you turn around and there are all your loved ones, everyone that you ever cared for in your life from before.

In my most humble opinion, I’m no professional but my mom is a musician/singer so I’ve grown around music. This is a masterpiece. His voice is perfection, his tone so unique and clear. The instruments specially the cello and violins are mind blowing. Everything works even on this video, how they are dressed, I just love the whole thing, the theatrics. This song evokes so many emotions, it makes me smile, it makes me cry, it gives me goosebumps.

oh wow... Best live version of a song ever
Planted in the mire of middle age, my focus is on the news, and the worries of the day. Once in awhile though, a song like 'In this Shirt' dances along my vagus nerve, and cracks open a flood of emotion, and love, and pain. It makes me feel breathless. Like I am flying through a rain forest, and my memories are rushing along beside me. Music is the language of the soul. Masterworks like this song are the translation of that language.
All the musicians in this song are legends, the Symphony of musical instruments really blew my mind, simple lyrics and bowing. This song is love.
The first time I heard this song was when I was 13 and then I was able to fall in love with the music for the first time and cry from what I heard. Now I am 25 years old and after so many years I still experience the same emotions as I did then. Thank you.

Blows the studio version out of the park!
Music is the closest thing humans will experience to magic.
It's been a long time since something moved me so much, it grabbed my heart
Even after 7 years. I still haven't forgotten. Sorry I wasn't enough...

Probablemente no podrá superarse jamás.
This song it’s incredible, every single part of it , lyric , the melody , the guy voice omg
How joyful that we still have musicians that make us feel something with their art.
I honestly think this is one of the greatest songs ever. It's so beautifully touching.
If someone asked me what I imagine the voice of God to be like, I would say this is it.

I did not know this song could get any better then I heard the live version and 🤯
This was _spellbinding._ As a songwriter, this makes me reevaluate the need for a traditional song form (verse, chorus, bridge...) on everything. If a melody and chord sequence is beautiful enough, hey, just keep looping it back into itself and bringing various elements in and out of it.
One of the things I love the most about social media is the power of discovery. I've listened to this song on tiktoks hundreds of times and I'll never forget the first time I searched and saw this video. This will be imprinted in my mind for ever as to me this is art in it's purest form. Thank you for producing one of the most touching and beautiful songs I will ever listen to in this life.
this song sounds so ethereal...never have i felt the lyrics so well embodied through the melody....i can actually feel the impact of his words...the weight....through the instrumentals
Considering the current state of music I thank the MUSIC GOD'S for this masterpiece coming into the light !
I love the intro, i know is not intencional, but is quite relaxing!!
This song is a masterpiece.
THIS JUST SET MY SOUL ON FIRE, I FORGOT I COULD FEEL THIS WAY ❤

...SET MY SOUL ON FIRE... you can’t even imagine how literal it is when it comes to such creativity.
I can feel the emotion in the keys … In the vocals … Those violins … I’m tearing up … Oh shit …this is beautiful … When he sang “ in the night “ … Oooo … I can feel the fear drops trickling down neck .
This song its sooo underrated... its a masterpiece. Listening in 2023👌
i just love the violin sound

I have been trying for a long time to capture the magic of this song in words. The closest thing to it is this: introversion, being trapped in an inner cosmos, is so absolute that it gives rise to the most beautiful extroversion. Addicted, forever.
I can't get enough of this song🎶🎶
