@@airhab Blame the audience; Marvel is only taking advantage of an already ongoing situation like every other studio would. Scorsese has to adapt, either by going to Netflix, like he did, or by cutting his budget and settling for less ambitious projects. It's not just movies that are suffering from this phenomenon-look at video games: Only Sony can afford to fund creative, high-budget games, like Death Stranding, because they make their profits by selling their console, not only their games. Similarly, Netflix makes its profit by selling subscriptions, not movie tickets. Conform to market standards, go indie, or find someone like Netflix or Sony to fund you-these are your options if you want to get anything made in the entertainment industry nowadays.

I love both Scorsese films and Marvel movies but if I had to choose one, I'd instantly choose Scorsese and not think twice. The most I've watched any Marvel movie would be about four times. I've seen The Godfather at least 25-30 times. This debate about Marvel movies not being cinema is ridiculous. Those movies are meant to be escapism for kids and mass audiences who just want mindless action and fun. They all go by a formula and are as predictable as the day is long. Not to mention they are ruining the movie going experience because superhero movies and franchises are the only movies making massive box office returns. Therefore big studios aren't interested in making artistic, cinematic films and streaming services are going to be producing them from now on. Sad.

Wow! FANTASTIC interview. Thank you for showing some new clips from The Irishman that haven’t been in the teasers before. That speech Al gives as Hoffa looks incredible. He has the perfect energy for the role. De Niro and Scorsese are also at the pinnacle of their crafts. It cannot be understated how much talent was in that room. Can’t wait to see this movie!

Watching and listening to Pacino and Deniro here, its obvious what Great instinct and intellect they have , have always had for acting , really are 2 of the best that will ever be.

Scorsese should make a movie with all of the All-Stars he's ever worked with: Pacino De Niro Pesci Liotta Keitel Nicholson DiCaprio And maybe throw in Jonah Hill in there for good measure

What a collection of brain power!!! Actors are the best!!! So wise, so many nuggets of wisdom in this interview . Just plain insightful. We should all strive to be like them.

This film certainly looks to be an instant classic, but when it comes to Al and Bob, Heat is still king and always will be

Agreed. 1995 when the Heat was on. That feeling is surreal.

I liked what DeNiro said about staying in the moment no matter what direction you go in the scene. Nice acting jem.

These guys are the perfect storm, the magnitude is unmatched, I'm afraid this is a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

What a Mountain of Talent and Experience! Master Craftsmen who take a Good Story and bring it home to you. BRAVO!

The thing I love about these 3 is that they don't act for the box office they act for much more then that

I can shut out politics when it comes to these guys. These actors Pesci included put you in the movie they are in. I get chills just watching this interview. De Niro and Pacino might be the best actors ever.

Now is a good time to watch each of their classic movies. Thanks for the entertainment.

Scorsese has become a classic filmmaker who's arguably one of the best ones from his generation, then I'm glad he's back working with De Niro and especially, with Al Pacino, which is his first collaboration with him in a movie. In fact, I just watched The Irishman, and I have to say that I got emotional, while seeing it because, I felt that it might be Scorsese's last movie. To sum up, what a masterpiece The Irishman is, well done Marty.
