i have 15 pro max and its coolest iphone ever on pubg now. Because on iphone higher antutu score means less heating on pubg. But you need an active cooling fan anyway. ı bought a graphene copper supported cooling case from aliexpress its even cooler now. apple socs are very efficient even without a vapor chamber. A vapor chamber is only gonna delay throttle only for 10-30 minutes. After that you need active fan anyway but phones with vapor chambers can benefit from active cooling much more efficiently with faar slower fan speeds with low noise.

Anyone else already tired of hearing about AI features? I likely won't use or don't really care about most of them. Give me better camera, screen, battery life, and iOS stability and feature improvements..

I would say... AI si too mutch of a buzzword these days. But.... With a better neural engine on the chip all of those things you mentioned Will be improoved. Better camera procesing, better efficiency, better battery life and probably faster procesing enabling heavier software, justo to mention a few

This first wave of AI companies seem focused on "gimmicky" features in photos, language translation, summarizing/formatting content. Fine, just not for me or those thing you mention. I hope I'm wrong and Apple's first takes are what you note!

@@hobosnake1 So thats why people buy the Galaxy smartphone because it has a legendary battery life of 2 days. But ..... the iPhone 15 Pro Max literally outlasts the Galaxy S23 Ultra lmao. So now the S24 Ultra is improved in battery life although people are saying that it's extremely inconsistent and it needs software updates to fix bugs and what not. But iPhone is up there on par with the Android super phones lasting people 2 days on average. It's among the best battery life you can get on a smartphone. Its one of the reason why iPhone is the most popular smartphone in the world (duh)

I just want better battery. AI will be useless to me. Faster only means more battery required.

That’s not true at all the processor is crucial in battery management and optimization as they continue to increase the neural engine and make home faster and more effective they can in turn make the battery life better and keep the battery health sustained for longer durations of time them some of the past models

dude 14 pro max was biggest upgrade and 13 pro max was decent. 14 pro added great Dynamic Island and 13 pro just 120 hz.

The 14 and 15 pros are very buggy and poor battery life and battery health drains fast and overheating issues still exist (regret trading in from 13 pro with specific calling issues to 14 pro last year. Hope the 16 Pros will finally be good like the 13 Pro used to be).

Agree still got iPhone 13 Pro Max and it’s run so sweet where I honestly consider myself to keep this phone for one more year . I guess Apple needs something big this year to make people buy new iPhones.

It's crazy that people talk about apple overheating like it doesn't happen on other phones. My s24 ultra overheats all the time.

I’m typing this comment on my iPhone 15 pro max. I can almost promise you that you don’t use your android as much as me.

Because it has vapor chamber cooling, it doesn't mean that it's not overheating, it's only expand the time with about 10 minutes.. after it's hot there are no difference between the Android and iPhone, both have throttling phase to cool the chip a bit..

You’re in for luck.. by 2027 all phones must have removable battery back that requires no special tool to open.. which means you can always swap your battery yourself whenever you feel like it.

Back on Android with the S24 Ultra, and I'm loving it! I used the iPhone 14 Pro Max for about 10 months, but I was ultimately disappointed with the camera. While the photos were sharp, the colors were consistently inaccurate. Beautiful sunsets often turned out dull and lifeless. With my Galaxy Note 10+ from 2019 the Colors turn out beautiful with no editing. To my (even greater) disappointment, the iPhone 15 uses a smaller 48-megapixel sensor than the 14 Pro's, with improved HDR software and a the 24-megapixel mode, it actually takes better pictures! Of course it's iPhone 15 (Pro) exclusive. On top of the camera issues, I found iOS to have several drawbacks, including a laggy keyboard and the lack of a clipboard manager. I can already hear the Samsung haters, My Note 10+ did get a Camera update after 2.5 Years... That's why I left Apple.

13 pro max is the best iPhone that came out in the last few years. Dynamic Island and action button is irrelevant. I hope the 16 pro max is a worthy successor.

Just wanted to point out that the statement about the A17 chip being significantly faster in Neural Processing is wrong. Apple switched from measuring in Int16 to Int8

They should focus on providing us with better quality photos and videos in low light; iPhones are really bad in low light, and the images are full of noise. Instead of giving us artificial intelligence features that aren't very useful, they should also improve voice commands-honestly, the voice command on Gboard's keyboard is much better.

For the base models, yes. But it'll be bad news for Pro models sales. It's why Apple is remaining stubborn about putting 60Hz in the base models.

So you are telling mt iPhone 15 pros will not get AI cause its locked to the chip if that the case... I will be switching to samsung

Companies ai feature urges us to use them forcefully to try them we actually dont need it in day to day life. Refinement is more welcomed in ios for some basic features which ios lacks, also smaller dynamic island.

The 18 is probably the 17 pro rebranded…. iPhone 13s were the last good non pro model that didn’t have large cuts.

idk bro... 17 and 17 plus seem to be 16 pro and pro max rebranded. 17 will still have island, and 120hz with 2 cameras. 17 plus will even get smaller screen.16 and 17 seem to be a repeat year of the 13 and 14s

The AI features will be baseline compatible with at least iPhone 15 and M3 series because they will be unveiled at WWDC. They are revamping the iPad line in a couple of weeks, and any new features are going to be compatible with those devices which will have versions of existing chips. Because developers need to have access to the SDKs to have 3rd party apps ready for OS launch day, if any features are locked to unreleased devices, they would need to ship developers devkits-the very existence of which would cannibalize the sales of all the existing hardware inventory. The play Apple will use here is just an enrichment of the base OS features, more always on/background features, and if anything is going to be device specific, it won’t release until the x.2 version in time for holidays.
