Iodine is needed for every cell of the body, and you cannot get enough from diet or food. Most of us are iodine deficient and this can cause many problems like autoimmune disease, cancer, thyroid disorders (hashimoto's) + more.

When taking Lugols iodine, 2-6 drops, it causes significant diffuse body pain (heels, joint, muscle, etc), worsens fatigue and brain fog. Thoughts?

I take about a quarter dropper of Lupol’s Iodine daily with a cup of water mixed with a packet of unflavored LMNT. Started in mid Feb 24. I am male, 70 years young. I started carnivore lifestyle (diet) in Jan 18th, 2024. Had a my medical tests run Jan 25th, 2024. I was pre diabetic, 282 lbs, 76”, low testosterone, etc. Had my labs run again April 26th. No longer pre diabetic, 40 pounds lost, total testosterone 351.5 (256.6 on Jan 25th), triglycerides 98 (110 on Jan 25), cholesterol/HDL 5.1 (3.6 on Jan 25), mean plasma glucose 108 (123 on Jan 25), B12 level 1157 (204 on Jan 25), hemoglobin A1c 5.4 (5.9 on Jan 25), est mean Plasma Glucose 108 (123 on Jan 25). As of today, May 15, 24 I weigh 226, walking on a treadmill 2+ miles and using weight machines for 40 minutes. Feel great, fingernails & toenails are flexible and soft (weird but not so for years). Developed a rash on my chest in Mar 24. It has not gone away completely (strange). Aches & pains pretty much gone. Still sleep with a CPAP but sleep really good. Average 7-8 hours. Don’t know if the iodine helps but it obviously is not hurting!

I had been diagnosed hypothyroid and my weight skyrocketed. I never could get my weight down and my doc said well it's not your thyroid your numbers are good. I over the years had a hip replacement and a heart attack. I'm someone who doesn't smoke, drink and couldn't have gluten and dairy. Many digestive issues. I couldve been spared all these symptoms. I have found carnivore and iodine. I'm finally feeling more like myself than I have in 35 years.

The medical community doesn't want doctors to do a clinical exam they only want doctors to go off of blood tests. I found that out last year when my cholesterol got tested and just because my LDL was high and she totally the doctor totally disregard it my HDL and my triglycerides and the calculations that you can do triglycerides divided by HCL or total cholesterol divided by HDL and I was low risk but she wanted to put me on a statin she didn't even want to do that process and I double checked it on the American heart association website and I was low risk they don't even ask for your LDL numbers they first ask online for your triglycerides and your HDL and then if that doesn't produce the right ratio then they'll probably actually what your LDL is This medical community in this country is just purely driven by pharmaceuticals now. I watch video after video and I get informed and I go to the doctor's office and then just goes out the window anything I ask is just tribalized and it's almost like an antagonistic relationship I wanted my hormones tested and they were like no The gynecologist and my internist who happens to be my PCP everything is just they want to put you on statins they want to put you on osteoporosis drugs they don't want to do anything that's preventive or get to the underpinning of what could be wrong or even you know getting your thyroid numbers and saying I don't feel right and knowing that there's false negatives. I have a neighbor who's 52 and she got diagnosed with osteoporosis and she has a progressive doctor because the woman's health initiative of 2002 it's being called the largest crime against women because of 20 25 years of women not getting HRT because of the ridiculous results that were produced from that study meanwhile HRT bioidentical and host slew of them estrogen progesterone patch etc protect you against osteoporosis, against breast cancer, and a whole host of other benefits you get by having that estrogen and progesterone disgusting It's not happening in Europe.

Almost 16 years ago I was healed by a QRA practitioner using Bob Marshall’s premier products I had nodules on my thyroid. My endocrinologist wanted to remove my thyroid. I said no, I want to try holistic approach. I was prescribed iodine and natural salt and also a whole cleansing process. I had the healing crisis! But I survived because I also took several supplements to support my liver and kidneys as they processed the toxic dump, I wish I’d taken glutathione as well. The nodules on my thyroid went away. Since then, i continue to take detoxidine brand iodine daily bc my thyroid expands and contracts in relationship to the chemtrails. I have given my children, every time they get sick at the first sign that they have a cold that they tell me they’re feeling a tickle in their throat. I give them iodine five drops a day for five days 1000 mg vit C, magnesium glycinate each night and their colds resolve within three days. I used the same protocols during the pandemic; I used iodine and at the first sign of sickness, thank you for verifying everything I was taught almost 16 years ago.

I am going through the same thing. I have nodules on my thyroid and parathyroid. Diagnosed two years ago and they keep saying they are referring me to an endo and they never do! I ask at every visit and they say Sure! But they never do it. They won’t even tell me the name of the endo they say they are going to refer me to so I can make the appointment myself. Something is wrong with that. The first Primary did me the same way and my new primary does it too! No doctor in my town has anything close to a good rating and the ones who do give 4 or more stars are very few and likely aren’t being truthful since I see a ton of people who are angry at the doctor and his or her lack of proper care. Everyone I know in this town is very unhappy with their doctors and most discourage anything the keto and carnivore and pro salt and iodine doctors say. They just throw pills and don’t even do labs like they should. You’re lucky to get 15 minutes with them when you have a chronic disease diagnosis. 😮

Thank you both of you for this interview, it was exceptionally interesting and informative. I live in the Uk, I’m pretty sure I have a thyroid issue, but what use is any doctor that has a person waiting nearly an hour in a waiting room and just five minutes in his office. How on earth does a health issue get diagnosed with that. I’ve spent several years now reversing my autoimmune conditions that my useless doctors didn’t recognise or even consider that food sensitivities and bone spurs were the cause. Now I’m trying to work out how to help my thyroid and improve my cervical neck curve. It’s a long, hard and painful road, but I’m making some progress.

Salt was demonized by Sen McCarthy in the late 70's along with cholesterol and saturated fats, when he created the first Dietary Guidelines. As Dr. Brownstein said, a small minority of people had salt sensitivity issues, so McCarthy decided to base lower salt intake for everyone based on the few. None of it was, or is to this day, evidence based.

Even as a mostly carnivore all my life, I had serious thyroid issues and luckily I got introduced to the most wonderful integrative doctor that is still my doctor today. Back in 2005, nobody knew what Armour Thyroid was and balancing my hormones with iodine and proper salt. My wish for everyone is that they have a doctor like Dr. Brownstein and even my doctor who opens up the channels and uses nutrition and proper supplements, hydration, and exercise to treat what ails us. I just discovered Baja Gold salt. If you haven’t heard of this check it out! It’s the best salt on the market. Great for cooking meat. The sodium content is low compared to pink salt and Celtic salt/ grey salt and the trace minerals are double or triple other salts. It makes it easy to salt food generously and also get everything you need. Especially potassium.
