Thank you! Alpha matte uses alpha channel as a mask for itself, meaning that if you have footage with alpha channel as a matte, like my footage where you can see me but without background, footage under matte layer will be visible only in places where footage isn’t transparent. Luma Matte uses lightness as a source of the mask, meaning in spots where your matte(layer which you use as mask) has bright like white colors, there you footage bellow matte layer will be visible. In spots where you matte layer is dark like black, footage bellow matte layer will invisible/completely transparent. And finally in spots where your matte layer is not black or white, for example has brightness not all the way up to be white, instead it’s grey(color doesn’t matter) in these places, your footage below matte layer will be semi transparent. And value of how visible your footage depends only on brightness value of each pixel on matte layer :)

Thank you for video request! I’ll watch movie and see what I can do. For most of the time, they usually have two guys same height and closes and body structure, and using face replacement in scenes in which you can see the faces But maybe I’ll be able to make a good tutorial out of it

Пока что нет, но думаю скоро запишу. Тем временем посмотрю если есть возможность добавить в описание ссылку на футаж, если он еще у меня где-то сохранился, но на сколько помню для практики этого эффекта можно просто скачать любую картинку для фона, и png-картинку человека с вырезанным фоном, или самому вырезать, и потренироваться пока на картинке. И в итоге если эффект понравится то снять себя на телефон и отротоскопить и повторить по тутору снова

Потому что он не приносит денег, а без денег жить сложно) я на скейт канал буду снимать видео когда появится возможность, но как раньше в приоритет ставить не могу, не та тема которая может стать полноценной работой🤷🏻‍♂️
