I think he gets a bad rap from all the crazy stories about him from his days at Microsoft. But the dude is passionate about everything he does and cares about the fans and consumers. There's a great story way back in the day of the XBOX 360 where they needed to fix that whole Red Ring of Death issue. It was going to cost them $1.5 Billion to fix the issue and it seem like they were kind of scared to tell him. But he just said do it.

Honestly. The clippers arent as popular becuz they never had Kobe or Shaq. They don’t have any players that grew with the team. Like Joel or Steph curry. Kawhi and pg don’t have the charisma of Kobe. If the clippers had Kobe I’m sure it would be a different stoey

but it is though, the skyline is about 40 min away from the international airport of LAX and the stadium is only three miles away from the international airport so by the transitive property if the skyline is close to the international airport its also close to the stadium.

I vividly remember the first year the Lakers moved into the Staples Center and won the championship. Considering the Clips once played in the relic that was the LA Sports Arena with it's great 1960s technology and design and the fact they have to play second fiddle to the Lakers especially playing home games in their house (not to mention the Donald Sterling fiasco) - It is nice to see the Clips get their own arena - identity. Kudos to Ballmer for making it happen!

Balmer and Cuban (ex owner) are my kind of owners. True fans of the game. You never catch them in some luxury box and the players are treated well. Lastly, he built it near the areas that need support.

As a Jets fan, I wish the Jets would buy their own stadium somewhere in Long Island, Im happy for the L.A Clippers fans .

Stadium looks dope tbh, and the toilet thing is cool, cus nobody likes those stadium lines haha Very interested in seeing how The Wall translates and gets implimented realistically, I hope it can have that feel of like a mini Dortmund Yellow Wall, or The Kop for Liverpool. Can't wait to make the drive down to see it in person when it opens.

They built a new beautiful area in Brooklyn a few years ago. When the Nets play the Knicks most of crowd is rooting for the Knicks. I don’t think the new arena will give the Clippers a big home court advantage

I travel out west every season to support my Cavs against the Lakers and Clippers sitting courtside and after arriving and entering the VIP backstage entrance, a staff member told me to zip up my jacket and take off my Cavs hat, I just laughed showed him my badge which they hated seeing and proceeded to chill with my Cavs Team. I will be visiting Intuit Arena Cavs geared up next season.

As a lakers fan i do hope the clippers eventually win a title because the passion and dedication balmer has shown to the sport and showing how owning a team should be run. most owners see teams as investments and expect returns soon rather than later. the suns owner and balmer are the only ones seeing that returns come with success. you must spend money to make money. i only hope the lakers can keep up with those two because a name will only get you so far. it won’t be long till the clippers actually win championships and i’m here for that competition, it should only make the lakers better so they don’t fall behind. they are too comfortable right now even though they aren’t winning.

Until the Clippers win a championship is when they can finally get out of the Lakers shadow. Just having there own arena is not enough.
