    I wish there were video games with this much detail: like a fractal building game where players could construct cities, planets, and continents using infinitely detailed objects.

    Absolutely mind-blowing! This is the best I've seen! How much work went into producing this? I mean, in terms of hours? I'd love to know how it is done.Was most of the donkey-work done by the software programmer, and the end-user then plays around with various parameters and variables?

    Not only can 3D objects use these fractal formulas, I'm sure these mathematical formulas hold the key to Artificial intelligence (AI) in future video game programming. For example enemies could re-spawn when destroyed into random/chaotic patterns, perhaps more powerful than previous generations or morph decisions based on a players recurring playing style. The whole idea of playing a game that no-one has played before even though they are playing the exact same game sounds incredible.

    Well Mandelbulb can export Voxels, which some other program can combine into meshes. I haven't yet tried it out, but these videos sure are an inspiration for anyone wanting to do sci-fi or even fantasy work.

  • @venbrou
    @venbrou11 жыл бұрын

    Perhaps simplified because the nature of a fractal would cause your 3D printer to try creating patterns smaller than atoms. Even with it being simplified, there are many parts that just float there, and the overall structure would make it crumble before it was even finished.

    @AntimatterSemen None whatever. These images are catalysts. They stimulate the brain to create mental impressions that are as powerful as the mind that they enter. I have seen people see these and go, "Meh?", while others are plunged into the most profound ecstasies. It is a function of the receiving mind. Some of these images are actually hallucinogenic for some people (like me, eg.). While some are erotic for others. I suspect that high power computers will eventually replace hallucinogens.
