​​@@tabularasaconfirmed Yes, absolutely 💯 on that. The 2nd book is necessary to get to glimpse Lestat's beginnings which reveal so much of his personality which is multi-layered. His human family dynamic is also very interesting if they go according to the book. I would also like to see how they will handle the scene with the wolves which is extremely important.

Assad is so animated and has the sweetest voice

It's great that this series has not only great writers but also such intelligent and well spoken actors who care so deeply about the story.

Rolin and the writers discovering a newfound love for Armand and coming to view the story from his perspective and knowing where they can take his character in the future is all so refreshing to hear 🥹 and of course Assad’s incredible performance and understanding of his character has me beyond excited for what’s to come! Brilliant questions btw!

I’ll be so happy for Eric when Daniel finally gets turned 😂 he’s been talking about wanting that from day 1!

Love how much this cast cares about the source material and this amazing show. We are blessssed with these amazing people

we're so lucky to have all these wonderful people working on this show. you can tell they're all so deeply passionate about the source material and understand their characters and roles achingly well. season 2 isn't even out yet, and I'm already hoping and praying season 3 gets greenlit. something this earnest and beautiful deserves the room to unravel to its end.

I am now obsessed with Lestat! I watched the show casually first and as it progressed I had to pay attention and had to watch it again and I am just obsessed with this show, I hope they release season 3 soon before the euphoria dies down, a lot of times with huge periods between seasons you tend to get disconnected and forget what it made you feel and then it feels like watching something new, I have abandoned many shows because of the disconnection. I would love to watch more of Lestat, and Lestat and Louis together, they look so good together. I am glad we are done with Claudia, I hope the story moves forward keep Louis and Lestat at center

Really enjoyed the entire interview but loved Bogosian and Zaman's segment...laughed out loud a few times. As always a great interview! Always asking the questions that requires thoughtful answers and it just makes for a better interview all around! Bravo!

In Season One, Daniel never asked WHY Louis wanted this interview. And we never hear why he gave the interview when Daniel was young. Because the other vampires would not have wanted to be exposed either time, as Armand says.

I like what Sam said that Lestat wasn't being facetious when he said the vampires in the old world are much worse than he is and that is true. Lestat is easy going in comparison to the vampires in the old world something Louis and Claudia find out the hard way. On another note, why do I think Louis becomes a Beatnik years after?

I hope AMC announces season 3 as soon as possible, I need to know we're getting more lol

I can't wait to watch the first episode of the second season. This has been one of my most anticipated returns this year. Everyone sounds so excited for us to see what they've done and the story that they've woven together and I like what they could divulge already. The excitement and anticipation is palpable. Questions were engagement and thoughtful and allowed them dig into what they love about the show, the characters and their interactions. Fabulous job as an interviewer as always Karama. I always love how you give the people you interview space to let them get their thoughts out and how their answers help flow into the next question and how comfortable you make them feel, not to mention you're own excitement for subject! Rotten Tomatoes if you're listening/reading give her more interviews, segments, etc.!

I usually don't like it when shows bend to the fans' wishes, but IF/WHEN this show gets a third season, these two lovebirds need to stay together. In the books Lestat ends up with somebody else, but that's not something any of us wants to see.

Yep. Bailey Bass has a prominent role in the Avatar film series which made it difficult for her to film Interview so they had to recast her role.

Bailey Bass is under contract with James Cameron for the Avatar films. She could not do both. The re-casting of Claudia was flawless. British actress, Delainey Hayles is a phenomenal actress. She's doing a great job.

Eric needs to think again about his statement of Louis' illusory perspective regarding his "goodness and light" nature. Louis demonstrated with great heart that he is far more ethical and humane than Daniel ever will be by NOT slapping Daniel into Christmas 2050 after Daniel assaulted him! Does Eric think that the audience is asleep? While viewers tend to support Daniel, few would personally tolerate his cynicism and acerbic, mistrustful nature. Few would have the patience! He is the original and insensitive GRINCH.
