I love Assad’s French accent the most! When I first heard him my mouth dropped open! Also, it meant a lot to hear how much the fandom and our little iwtv community means to the cast. We adore them!

as a french native speaker i think assad's accent is the best and most accurate one (from that one extract we've seen so far at least), it's really good :))

Very surprised that they don't learn another language in school in the UK. We learn French in Canada. In Scandinavian and many other countries they learn English...etc. I think they might learn Spanish in the US.

This was such a great interview! It was clear you had a great rapport with the actors and I appreciated learning all the details about their process, accents, etc. I love that you asked about the memes and the fandom as well.

There are few words to express the utter POWER of both of these performers throughout season one! I am totally thunderstruck at the intensity, honesty and passion of the characters they have developed. The acting is mind-bending! We have all been transported back to a time in US history that was completely heinous for an entire people (it has not yet ended) but still, this portrayal of that time is such a powerful expression of both degradation and resilience. Add to it the living existence of a serial-killing Being, capable of giving birth to more of itself at the drop of a hat!!! I am psychologically preparing myself for season 2!

Really enjoyed the interview. Thank you for the thoughtful questions. On a more shallow note, Assad's beautiful, free-flowing curls

So hard to make out what they're saying, the sound is very muffled. And Taylor needs to learn how to use the camera on (or off) his face. Otherwise, a good interview.
