@Test86 One4 it is the Government's channel, not representing any dynasty. More importantly, what we call as "NEWS" is telecast by them. And then there are what we call private News channels, which do not telecast any real news. We can watch them if we are looking for entertainment to satisfy our "Basic instincts" .... It's also true that television channels in every other country (even tiny and underdeveloped countries) are more mature and responsible with regards to their national interests and security, whereas these private channels in India expose sensitive information on their motherland and are proud about it. On many occasions, their direct interviews and treatment of foreign nationals alone is enough to spoil the country's relationship with India. I believe India needs to control this

It is incredibly hard to declare war in the USA which is why we declared it on "terrorism" to avoid the legal burden. If there is no defense treaty, I doubt anyone will join in unless dragged in. This is why the USA sat out of the first two world wars as they were "Europe problem" and we had no defense agreements.
