It really has the potential to happen. Ever since KH1 whenever they fought, they always end up somewhere else by the end of the clash. I wouldn't doubt that Nomura would write them ending up in Quadratum and finishing the fight there.

UE5 doesn't actually inherently have a higher fidelity than UE4. You can make extremely high fidelity games in both it's just a lot easier in UE5 which is probably why they're moving to it.

I just wanna say It's possible that he looks like that only because he's in Quandratum which is a realistic looking world, but I hope that he go back to his original design with big shoes and spiky hair, Kingdom Hearts can keep is designs without starting to look too realistic while still havinh incredible grafics :> Just look at the 0.2 Birth by Sleep introduction cinematic !

I'm currently watching every single KH movie (gods on KZread take KH games at cut them to keep only the important gameplay passages and cutscenes so it makes hours long movies with all the lore in it). I watched the lets plays years ago but now I need to remember everything about the story. My road trip will be long but I promise I will know who the hell Strelitzia is XD

People that aren't KH fans will never understand our hype when we get big reveals like this lol

The biggest shock is that there was no big in between game for story. (There is maybe the mobile game, but this looks like something you could just jump right into from KH3

@@cloudshines812 I honestly never really found it too complex, it really only got to that point for me with Dream Drop Distance and A Fragmentary Passage. Sure the amount of games and all their connecting points can cause confusion (especially on first playthroughs when going in order), but most of the questions do end up getting answered, with the ones that aren’t will be answered soon in the upcoming game(s). It’s not a simple story, but it’s not something too complex once you have the pieces needed. (The main exception for me is it’s time travel aspect).

@@ami6785 neither DDD or AFP are complex as way. DDD just reveals Xehanort made horcruxes and KH3 would need to make Sora destroy that. AFP is just the introdutory world of KH3 splinttered to be a pseudo-demo in a KH Collection , and it's story is about Aqua feeling weary in the Dark World. Even the time travel rules in DDD are merely a bunch of rules that Xehanort AND Sora broke from it in their own way , to make it look cooler how they broke said rules.

Funny that you mentioned Star Wars because from what the internet is pointing out in the trailer (case that nobody doesn't know) is that if you look closely to the whole forest area presented it looks identical to something from the forest of Endor from Return of the Jedi

@@josephtravis1032 it's not even that cause you can literally see, tucked in the top right corner in a blink it and you'll miss it moment, an actual AT-ST foot in that forest footage, specifically the close up on the river bed like if you don't know it's there you don't notice it but when you see it it's so unmistakably an AT-ST foot I'm actually wondering whether it's deliberate or they didn't realize it was there either and left it in by mistake

I wish I could’ve recorded my reaction, but I was tired from work and couldn’t properly set up. Still, THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!

This is still UE4. Both UE4 and UE5 games can look the same if you have a dev team put time and effort into it. The big thing about UE5 is that it makes it easier to make high fidelity games.

KH4 isn’t gonna be victim to the same development horrors that KH3 was. And notice the fact that comparing this reveal trailer to KH3’s initial reveal trailer there’s already loads more being shown to us. We got gameplay, in-engine cutscenes, including the Donald and Goofy cutscenes. We’ve already been shown more than what KH3 initially showed us in like two years

Final Fantasy XV used an in-house engine, the Luminous Engine (which, for the record, was supposed to be used for KH3 as well before the higher ups at Square Enix said "fuck it, you will move it to Unreal Engine 4" after two years of development). KH4 is planned to be for Unreal Engine 5; the trailer footage was made on UE4, but considering that UE5 is basically an updated UE4, migrating assets should be much easier this time
