sephiroth is considered by many to be the most "iconic" final fantasy villains. even in lore. to draw a comparison cloud is like the Belmonts only they can truly defeat Dracula. cloud is the only 1 who can truly defeat sephiroth. sephiroth is kinda also polar opposite to cloud. as cloud moves slow and carries a large sword. sephiroth is fast and wields a elongated katana. sephiroth was the first final fantasy villain on the play station all the others were primarily on nintendo consoles. fun fact in kingdom hearts(the series sora is from) 1 & 2 sephiroth is a secret super boss that is harder than the final boss. sure for kingdom hearts 2 final mix theres lingering will which makes sephiroth look easy but thats a kingdom hearts birth by sleep character as a boss. sephiroth's final smash is reference to the final boss of the original ff7 and his limit break super nova. which i HIGHLY encourage u to look up a video on. to sum it up its a meteor that comes to our solar system and obliterates 6 of the 9 planets (this was before pluto was no longer considered a planet.)

Facts!

Love the fact that in the canon, Sephiroth wasn't invited. Every baddie. Bowser, Ganon, Ridley, etc... they all got invited. Sephiroth didn't. He showed up because he wanted to. He also instantly killed the main antagonist, someone who nearly wiped out the entirety of the smash bros roster. He didn't save them. They're just under new management..

The result of horrendous experiments involving the cells fo a god named Jenova, he is blessed with incredible power, speed, and reflexes. However, one day he went completely insane and became hellbent on becoming a god and using the ultimate Black Magic, Meteor, to destroy the planet. There are very few who can challenge Sephiroth, fewer who can match him, and fewer still who can stop him.

Sepiroth is so badass, you recognize him with just the first 4 notes of his own theme.

Sepihroth’s Classic theme will always be a true classic but the Final Fantasy Vll: Advent Children’s version brought a whole new level of badassary and I’m glad they chose it.

True. The Advent version's the most perfect version for a super action setting like Smash. The original version's still more perfect for Safer Sephiroth in all his divine cosmic terror. I'm kind of glad nothing's been able to top the original in conveying how screwed in the ass you are in facing something like Safer Sephiroth. No other mainline FF final boss theme conveys that. Even Dancing Mad's final tier, there's still a fast tempo that indicates this is a desperate heroic struggle. None of that struggling here.

What I did there was something called exaggeration to emphasize how long the attack is. I’m almost certain that every other person who knows of the attack knows it’s not actually 15 minutes long. But it's a bit funny, Cloud has to search for Sephiroth to kill him, but Sephiroth always find Cloud without searching. He even find him in Smash😂😂

"nsync for smash" continues to make me laugh because Lance Bass voiced Sephiroth once. So Max wasn't wrong

Im surprised the sky didnt split open, with him descending from the heavens with an earth-shattering yell of "REAL SHIT, MY NIGGA?!" when Sephiroth and Pyra got revealed.

I love how people are in disbelief until it the "joins the battle" text appears then yell more

I just love how everyone is waiting for a hero to save the characters and it turns out to be worse than what they were already facing. And everyone is more hyped.

What I loved about his reaction was he wasn't even disappointed that it wasn't Ryu! The moment One Winged Angel came on its like the PTSD kicked in for him! Lmao I'm not even a fan of smash and never have played FF but I even knew that this was an iconic moment lol

There's a guy who didn't get featured in this called Pinoybrothers54 In 2018 when Final Fantasy coming to Switch especially FF7. He's calling that Sephiroth is gonna coming to Smash but it didn't happens. But two years later now in TGA 2020 his Dream come true

I don't know how old you are but Sephiroth is one of gaming's most iconic villains. I'm not that young but I also recognize Steve from Minecrafts iconic status tho. As well as Sans, even tho I've never played undertale and I played minecraft for about a week.
