The stories of the Spy Network of old are so fascinating, how they operated and other sneaky stuff. That Aston Martin prolly worth a mint! Awesome little car.

I worked on the stairs and rails, I did all the cutting and fitting of the stainless steel hand rails, I moved away and have not had a chance to go back and see it. Thanks for sharing this video.

My uncle had the Aston Martin DB5. If memory serves me correctly, he bought it when first released, so I'm guessing early 60s. He once told me he paid around five thousand for it. That must've been astronomical in the 60s. He would take it out for a little drive only on the hottest days of the summer (so not many in Britain lol) and the rest of the time it was in the garage. Man, it was fast. I remember being glued to the seat when he was speeding down the country lanes. I can remember a conversation he had with my nan in the 80s. He said some collector had offered him over a hundred thousand for it. He obviously turned it down. Things gotta be worth close to a million today. He doesn't have it though. Not sure what happened to it. He died while I was in the army.
