It was even more worse given the fact that Mackenzie Morales was bullied into it by Bridgette whereas the ALDC girls did that on their own free will without their mothers guiding them and the fact their racist words and actions (off the show) would have been uploaded either by themselves or with their mother’s permission.

That’s why I never held anything against Kaya tbh. The abuse and micro-aggressions I’m sure she faced from the others when she came was gross and I understand why ended up having bad blood with them. Not excusing her poor actions but she was on a TV show and if we can forgive the other moms for their even worse behaviors. We can forgive Kaya. She‘s probably not that awful irl. In her videos after the show she just seems like a regular, southern black mom and she’s also a lesbian and they grilled/bothered her about that too.

I think christi and kira have more in common. Both moms were the most vocal about protecting there girls and knew how amazing they both are. Both chloe and kalani were the best on the team, chloe seasons 1-4 and kalani 5-6. Kalani and chloe both stand out best in ballet, contempory and lyrical. Not to mention outside of the show both girls along with kendall spend a lot of time together. I didnt always like what words they used infront of other kids however both were usually right. Plus neither had to game play as there kids were both born to dance and didnt need abby as much as she needed them. Christi is also very good freinds with jill and melissa but on the show they as well as maddie and kendall were shown to be chloe and christis rivals. Ashlee also said that brynn and kalani are as close as lilly and brynn. I dont actually think any of the moms care about the show anymore.

I re-watched the entirety of Dance Moms last year, and I remember there were a couple of episodes (back to back) fully taking place at Candy Apple's and without a hint to the ALDC (I think they were on break). If I'm not mistaken it was in season 3 (or maybe 4). I remember there being some drama between Gino's dad and other parents there. Wow you can see in Ashley’s first appearances on the show and compare to when they went to California that she had a lot of “cosmetic work” done between the one season. No shade but she looks as old as Jill when she first got to the ALDC but again by the time they went to California she looks great. At least she had the right amount of done…. just saying.

@@kelsey2333 Just look at Ashlee in the beginning on this particular video when she’s upstairs talking to the other dance moms… her face, wardrobe and overall everything is overall bottom of the barrel/tired/woman of a certain age/lacking/not any effort to look younger than her age. Again no shade but she looks like a run down middle aged menopausal grandma. Then poof by the time she get to California she boobs are high/perky again, face is snatched full of fillers and Botox, full fresh makeup, good hair extensions & her attitude/cockiness is way up. Good for her she looks great in California(not in this particular video/season 5)but again that was a drastic change in only one season.

idt you have already, but im begging you to do the notes from the episode where Brigette plays Chandelier and Maddie starts dancing. It’s so funny to me bc the choreo she does is not to the part of the dance Brigette plays and is such a cringey production set up.

14:19 This isn't really that uncommon even if it's not a written rule. Personally I never talked to other teams at competition because they're just that- your competition, also just never had the time to do that there. If anything a "hi" in passing but never like "making friends" there (I also had bad anxiety so never rly wanted to lol). Competitions are all running around in chaos at the venue, watching friends, or you're back at the hotel while none of you are dancing. Maybe even some mental notes for those friends to help them next time they dance their piece, not generally for other teams/ their dancers. Love your vids just wanted to put my take on that out there. Not too uncommon.
