I tried this today. Really liked it because oil cleansers that emulsify totally off really upset my skin for some reason. I was using Albolene which doesn’t emulsify..but it’s kind of hard to get off? I felt like the oat cleansing balm rinsed off pretty easily for not having much emulsifying properties. Hoping I will continue to enjoy it and it won’t throw off my skin like most oil cleansers.

The cleansing balm has completely changed my combination acne prone skin. In a few days my skin was nice and soft again. On top of that it gently exfoliates your skin which is great! Love this product.

I love the oat cleansing balm! I use it before getting into the shower, but only to remove sunscreen. I wear minimal eye makeup, and no skin makeup. When the oat balm runs out, I’m going to restart using he Neutrogena sesame based body oil (recommend by a very good KZread dermatologist). It works well, and is very economical! FYI, it’s not colloid’i’al. Just three syllables. Thank you for the video.

Hi Abbey, I'm using right now the oat balm cleanser as a second step. I leave it on for about 5 to 10 minutes as a facial mask. It really sooths the skin. I also need to remove it with a soft damp towel. As you said , great for the coming winter months especially here in Northern Europe. I think 🤔 I'm going to give the oil a try....just to compare both products. Great review by the way.....Another thing, try using a silk fabric facial mask...it helps enormously with skin friction. Your skin stays cool and you skin care products don't get absorbed.; at least in my experience. Just make sure the inside part is also silk, not cotton. Mine has a "reusable" carbon filter that sits between the two sil layers. Great stuff. I am not acne prone but after shaving it does help with the friction and irritation. 😀

I don’t use bronzers or highlighters or heavy eye shadow, so maybe something with just foundation, powder, light eye shadow, blush, eyeliner, etc 🙂 Not sure if you already did something like that but I would love to see something in that area! BTW love this review!!!

Hi I like both, but I have very dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin. I only use them as a makeup remover or first cleanse and often use the bi phase one just as an eye makeup remover. They both need a second cleanse to remove residue, but really neither are intended as stand alone products in my opinion. The balm is very soothing also used as a mask for 10 mins as a tip. Neither are targeted at very oily skin, but can be used as a first cleanse by anybody. I always use a very soft microfibre cloth with any balm/oil cleanser, which really helps avoid residue from most cleansers. Best wishes.
