Dunno if they patched it, but years ago I used to rush them with my villagers in the first couple minutes (even on titan difficulty) and still win. The villagers are surprisingly tough and can take down a town centre.

good strategy, but i have a tip: build and attack in the same time like a villager is making a fortress near enemies when they fight with your army

How would you have to alter this strategy versus a human opponent? Place buildings further away? Go in on the citizens later? Focus towers first so they don't upgrade them? I've never been able to pull stuff like this off against other human players.

Yes, it's way harder to pull it off if your opponent is a bit experienced. Place buildings slightly further away would be good, but I think attacking the citizens is still very important to do early. It's not cheap to upgrade the towers early if your economy is under heavy pressure, for example.

It's the time shift ability of Kronos. It allows you to move your buildings to another place.

@@KevinLikesRTS To do it, just click the building and click the icon that looks like a hammer. I do it in the video at 3:25. You need to pay to move the buildings (ageofempires.fandom.com/wiki/Kronos#Time_shift_costs).
