I so wish to have a church to go to with a Preacher like you. Or Richard Owen Roberts. I've tried to enter a small church but they don't answer phones, they don't call you back & they seem to never be open when we go. I pray to Jesus to help me. I wish I could listen to Jesus talk about His father! I'm a sinner but no matter what I'll follow Jesus, pray, and read the Bible. Depends on the sin. Some addictions need a literal miracle from the power of the Holy Spirit because they are physically addicting with painful withdraws. Those are the worst sins, they are like chains. Even if you change your mind, it's not enough. A miracle is needed. Like oxys or herion..

You receive the vital gift of the Holy ghost/Spirit by being born again, seeing the Kingdom of Heaven (John 3: 3-8), getting baptized in Christ's Name (Acts 2:38) as Peter, on the day of Pentecost (who Christ gave the keys to the Kingdom), when the church began, told the Jews after informing them that they had crucified Christ: "Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call" Acts 2:37-39.
