The Moose is in the house. Been a fan since the impressively analytical breakdown video of your chances at World's last year. What a ride since then. What an inspiration. Genetics aside, just give it your all and let yourself be shown what kind of results you can get, whaterver you want to do in do in life.

The most impressive thing is that he’s played different sports, bodybuilding and even ran marathons. Not sure there has ever been a more versatile strongman champion before.

That seems to be the case of quite a lot of these guys, you don't get to be the world's strongest man by just starting to pick up weights in your twenties, they all were lifelong athletes who competed in various discipline.
Seems unreal how much he did in such a short time.

@@Saskatchetooner It's a reference to how he had to "crab walk" the last few meters of the shield carry in WSM to get ahead as the shield had slipped down on his body.
@andrewgilbertson5356

@@Saskatchetooner Because he won the shield carry by walking crab wise for the last few yards. Tom had looked over seen Mitch struggle and put his shield down thinking he had beaten Mitch. This man is the definition of "athlete". Seemingly came out of nowhere few years ago, and now is on the top. Didn't even know he did so many other sports, but now it actually makes sense.
Rauno might be the most important figure in the last two years of strongman He pulled out allowing the rise of The Moose and then made Brian do 11 reps on the heavy stone exhausting him from a podium spot in his last World's Rauno is the hand of fate lmao

Man this is so true. Without Rauno pulling out, it would've changed the whole entire timeline lol. It was an interesting watch on Brian's YT with him admitting after a stone off like that, his body just didn't have enough time to recover.

He's right up there with Jouko Ahola in having the fastest success in strongman. If Jouko hadn't retired after only a few years in the sport, he could have been one of the best ever. Hope Hooper sticks with it longer and becomes one of the all time greats.
Strength universe just put a video on him as well covering the best rookie years. Didn’t realise his was so much more than anyone else. Next highest was 5 podiums and 2 wins Mitch has been on another level the last 12 months. Wouldn’t be surprised if he podiums everything this year as well

Mitch Hooper over the last year has been mind blowing. I hear his coach was pretty good too.
Let us not forget Mitch's lack of experience in some of the events, he needed expert guidance, the smartest thing he did was asking Big Loz to be his coach, with Loz in his corner he has not been off the podium. All hail Team Mitch & Uncle Loz.
impressive. Seeing him at WSM I understand what makes him so successful: simply knowing what has to be done and doing it no matter how much it hurts. I saw the shield crab walk live and would have not given him another 5m and saw him somehow move for over 20m more. Now the real question is: are we going to see an era with two Canadians on top of the game? JFs return to the sport is hopefully going to happen as planned and I truly believe we have not seen his best yet either.

This is really turning out to be an incredible story. I’m really looking forward to Mitchell’s remaining journey! Congratulations to you both 👏
I can’t get my head around the speed of this guy’s progress. Absolutely sensational. WELL DONE.
Such an amazing year! Well done to Mitch's hard work and your coaching skills! 💪
Thank you very much for the video. Excellent breakdown of Mr. H's fast rise to the podiums. Editing, narration & time lines are brilliant!
loz and the moose is an undeniable combo
Simply an incredible first year with lots more success to come. Met Mitch briefly in Australia and he was gentleman with a genuine love for strongman and competition. Cant wait to see how the next 12 months goes.
Great quality video and narration!
What an absolute unit! It's always great to watch him compete, awesome sportsman and such a positive personality.

Always a good day when big Loz official comes out with another video
The guy was an athlete in all realms. I’m 100% sure the reason he performed so well was because of that stamina and endurance he has from running. Ain’t no way any strong man had ever even attempted a marathon before lol.
The change from bodybuilding to strongman is incredible ! I'm starting working hard to try to enter the strongman universe, I just fall in love with it. I'm 34, probably a bit late, but don't care will try and see how it goes in ten years ! Those guys are true inspiration !
Wow, good to see the new face of Mr Superman & a very talented athlete also. Wishing you all the very best Mitchell. 😎
Just brilliant how far Mitch has come in a short time. I love his attitude to training and life in general and the fact that he's donating 20% of his merch profits to help gyms stay open. Can't wait for Glasgow, my third time there, and sering you all. It would be great if you both could hold a seminar in Glasgow as well 🤞🤞
Amazing just amazing!!
I was joking with Rauno at worlds how Mitch owes his success in the sport to him and his withdrawal last year at wsm. But really, hard working athlete and love his take on things and his mindset. Very happy for him 😊
Still feels weird that I live around 30 minutes away from him. :p My mother found out that he'd won WSM because of reading a local paper!
Even though i wanted Tom to win his 3rd WSM comp I was truly and honestly so happy for Mitch!! He deserved that win!! People have been talking and nitpicking Mitch's win!! You can't please everyone all the time and people will hate. Here is what I have to say to that: *HATERS ARE JUST FREE PUBLICITY SO LET THEM TALK BECAUSE ALL THEY ARE DOING IS BRINGING LIGHT TO MITCH!!* Way to go Mitch, so very proud of you and I look forward to seeing what you bring to the comps coming up this year!! Kudos from Alabama!! Edit: Thank you Los & Auntie Liz for bringing us great updates, breakdowns and story time!!
The incredible rise of Loz's Traps
I'm pretty sure whoever is coaching Mitch Hopper should get most of the recognition...💪
He seems like such a chill dude too after watching him on Will’s channel.
What a story and incredible rise and seems like a great guy too which is even better ❤.
A former competitive Golfer. Hilarious in a way. Golfer defeats All Strongman. Congratulations Loz and Liz on all your accomplishments. (Smart, hard work at the right time, offering the exact right services in your sport. Really inspiring)
Legendary!⚡
Loz has one of those voices that makes everything sound epic! Granted, this from Mitch is truly epic, but I'd love to see a parody of this with Loz announcing the World's best garden fertilisers or something equally stupid "In 2023 we saw Growmore, rise back, and show it's true colours with epic coverage and growth! - there is no doubt in grass fans minds that MircaleGro faces strong competition in 2024!" - Good luck Loz with the prep you have done with Mitch for the Arnolds, supreme athlete!
Genuine phenomenon, with the brains to maximize that potential.
Unbelievable, many more to come one would expect, best of luck the moose
This gotta be one of the most successful rookie years in sports history
Gotta say now wat a story an how wel mitch has really done an for all your training to loz so bigup from bidzy westmids gypsy 🙌🙏👊👊💯💯👍
Such a likeable humble guy. He is an absolute Animal and he's going to be around awhile. Love to see it, even as an American
That s amazing 😊
I think the moose needs to meet a 2018 Thor and battle it out 😍
Awesome
Awesome, Loz. Mitchell won WSM in his 2nd attempt, and only his 10th ever major show (according to strongmanarchives). I know Maggie won at his first WSM, but it's listed as his 10th major contest too. Mariusz is listed as doing a couple of IFSA Grands Prix, one Poland's Strongest Man, an ESM, and a WSM before winning. Apart from the early guys like Wilhelm (can't have competed before, the sport didn't exist), who are the quickest guys to a WSM title?
Now on to the Rouge Invitational , and the Shaw classic . He'll have every major title.
Brilliant
What an athlete!
Talk about a meteoric rise. Never seen anything like it. There is something very different about that young man.
Still, a strongest man, strongest coach has lineage in the worlds strongest man competition! Your a true athlete and legend uncle Loz.. 💪💪
What a year 🚀🚀
It's good to see one of the "smaller" guys dominating
When the times happens Mitch stops discovering new évents in compétitions, he will be unbeatable.
This has to be one of the most natural sportsman ever
I just have to say I went to Barrie Ontario in 2023 for work I got a trial at the gym he goes to Mitch is a stand up guy came and helped me correct form and didn’t even mention who he was I later found out watching on KZread.. genuine guy that’s very rare
Mitch is an incredible talent, but there's no question that he picked the right coach to harness his ability.
unreal strenght
The greatest glow up in strongman history and also possibly the best year in strong man history (the year being WSM to WSM)
sorry been mia but was very ill out of the woods now and back
All you left out was your reaction last year to Mitch's group stage performance. A joy to watch.
What an absolute specimen of a human being
The moose has had the most successful rookie year in the history of the sport and it is not debatable
Mitch is like when you find the cheat code and win everything with no experience
Man is a freak no way to describe him! Looks like Mitch has the same hunger to win as Mateusz.
Wow non stop competition for a whole year.
I truly believe Mitchell can go on to become one of the greatest of all time
Sick
They guy you hate at school as he’s amazing at every sport 😂😂
I’m looking forward to Moose vs Mountain.
I'm just glad a Canadian finally got it!
Was that actual footage of Mitch playing American Football?
So who approached whom regarding coaching: Loz did Mitch or the other way around ?
