Not exactly. The Strait of Georgia in Canada and Puget Sound and the Strait of Juan de Fuca all retain their names and locations. All three areas now constitute the Salish sea. Strait of Georgia remains as an arm if the Salish sea. Indigenous groups in both Canada and America collaborated on this parallel move.
