Southern Chile: Living on the Most Southerly Locations on Earth
Ойын-сауық
We embark on a journey to the distant and remote region of Patagonia, known for its scarce population and stunning beauty. At the southernmost tip of South America, we discover the fragile yet awe-inspiring landscapes of Southern Chile.
Our first encounter is with Carlos Barria, a seaman and cattleman who resides in one of the most southerly locations on Earth. His ranch is situated near the legendary Cape Horn, offering a glimpse into a world far removed from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
Next, we meet Philippe Reuter, an enthusiastic mountaineer who calls the base of the Andes' immense glaciers home. With a passion for exploration, he invites us to witness the breathtaking vistas and natural wonders that only the Patagonian wilderness can provide.
Lastly, we encounter Jorge Arratia, a guide with a deep understanding of the balseros, the skilled raftsmen of Patagonia. In a remote valley, we witness the hard work of lumberjacks as they harvest cypress wood and transport it down the Rio Baker to the sea, where it is used to build homes and structures throughout the region.

My country is so beautiful. The desert zone, the altiplano, eastern Island, the south which is my favourite zone of my country where you van find lakes, forest, volcanoes, carretera austral, Chiloé, the Patagonia. Come to Chile the landscape are awesome.

What a blessed gift for you being able to share God's creation with us...
*Reminder: The name "Patagonia" is absolutely of Chilean origin; there is no "Argentine Patagonia"; This was a contemporary appropriation (theft) by the Argentines, which they later took advantage of for purely commercial-tourist purposes* "Patagonia" derives from the expression "Patagones" with which the Portuguese navigator, Hernando de Magallanes (1480-1521) called the natives and aborigines who inhabited an area of the southern Atlantic coast that he called “Puerto de San Julián”, and all these territories legally belonged, de jure, to Chile and its direct predecessor: the Reino de Chile or the Capitanía General de Chile (1541) Not even two centuries later, in 1776, when the Viceroyalty of the Rio de la Plata was created (the direct predecessor of today's Argentina), those territories belonged to them; because the geographical limits to the south of that viceroyalty were only from Buenos Aires to Mendoza. One hundred years later, in 1881, while Chile was in full war in the north with Peru and Bolivia; The Argentines took advantage of the Chilean defenselessness in the south, and ended up appropriating all of Chile's eastern Patagonia and, of course, the port of San Julián. And this is how Argentina maliciously appropriated Chilean eastern Patagonia (the mostly desert part that we see on satellite maps) and is also now trying to take over, for tourist and commercial purposes, an ethnic-cultural history in which it never participated. Finally, the Patagonians - Aonikenk or Tehuelches - were not only found in the surroundings of Puerto San Julián (the eastern Chilean territory STOLEN by Argentina) but also carried out mostly their activity, intercultural exchanges and settlements in the vicinity of the Strait of Magellan and in less measured in the Torres del Paine National Park (Lago El Toro), both Chilean sites.

The only theft Argentina made was to the aboriginal inhabitants of Patagonia, not Chile. The same you did to the aboriginal inhabitants of current Chilean territory. Argentinian Patagonia was never under Chilean rule, not even Spanish rule. Its inhabitants were only subdued by the Argentinian army. Yes,Chile always claimed it was all theirs but never actually possessed that territory. And there were claims on both sides. Both sides are actual appropriators of land that was somebody else's. If your claim is true then Chile still belongs to Spain. Stop lying to those who don't know

Such simplicity of outlook; no city-bred neuroses or ideological fixations. Just what we should all be - at one with Nature and the environment. Nature is free, beauty is free, work is free, relationships with others are not forced, but natural, based on the daily work. Such lives are hardy, straightforward, and exemplary. My sentiments exactly! The President of PepsiCo, Don Kendall, hired a hitman to murder the President of Chile when he refused to sell Pepsi in his country in the 70's. My father found out and told me. His brother Frederick cornered my mother when my father wasn't around - to get her to sign lawsuit documents, as he planned I would die. A freemason/illuminati murder because I told a stalking sex trafficker to leave me alone, he was a pig. They got their sander truck driver to fill it with sand and wanted him to kill me on his SECOND shift, working overtime. He drove right into my car going opposite direction, on my side of no-passing highway. And the attorney asked me, "Why didn't you get out of his way? It was a sunny day, the roads were bare." I knew at that point, he also wanted me to die. CIA have been the world's largest sex traffickers, which fed their costs of organized crime. No comments expected. I know the hell I go through because I have had my life manipulated by them ever since. They are really spineless people who like to push buttons, like detonating the World Trade Center buildings. Peace and Love to you all.

I long for a life like this. I'm from a small town in Northeastern India. I worked and lived in one of the most densely populated metropolitan cities in the world, Mumbai for 7 years. Man it has taken a toll on me. I hate cities. It's nature and simple life for me. I'd give it all up for that kind of peace.

Ya know, sometimes documentary producers just get it perfect. BEST Documentaries is the perfect name for this production organization. Patagonia is one of the interesting places on this side earth. Its natural state remains and I hope it continues to be protected, by Peru, Argentina and Chile.
About 70% of the "Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego" belongs to Chile; and 3/4 of the Beagle Channel are Chilean (the entire western-pacific zone and the entire southern zone of the eastern Atlantic sector) It is so difficult to look at a satellite map, holy god!
