My best friend is a woman. We check in with each other and say I love you to each other frequently. I ask to get her things (she has a new baby and a toddler) and am fine with nothing in return, but she isn't above giving me things either. She sends me snapchats and messages unsolicited. Yep. He never said anything about actually dating a woman. Just "tried being nice to women and doing right by them, they call when they want a favor, but never call me otherwise", so he's been throwing nice guy acts at random women, not accepting they're not interested in him sexually or romantically, but has hung around trying to suck up and convince them to pick him, if he's just around and does things for them. If he even tells them that he likes them, a lot of them never do! Just pretend to be a friend, and think it's like a film, and she'll dump her boyfriend and see the man she needs is right in front of her - him! Like a stupid romance movie plotline. He's done all this damage to himself, then blamed it all on women, only making him more repulsive to decent women.

I also cut my own hair. I use clippers though so I don't mess up much. Sometimes I have to use scissors to trim bits I couldn't get to and hope no one notices if it's bad.

Why would any woman (or man for that matter) ever want to even be ten steps closer to that thing?

i physically couldnt watch this video because of the congealed saliva constantly being the star of the show in thewrestlingotaku's clips and i'm already dealing with severe nausea today 🤢 but i sure could listen! this is basically what happens when a caveman with a camera is the lowest common denominator in all of their own problems and refuses to consider if that has something to do with why they're so miserable

So he did "nice" things for women he wanted to sleep with, and when they didn't reciprocate, he got upset. I feel badly for him, as it seems like he's maybe not very good at social cues? He reminds me of a man who used to come into the store where I was a manager and follow female employees around, talking to them. He genuinely didn't understand why they were upset. I sat and talked with him for about an hour, explaining to him that they are there to work, and they don't know him nor his intentions, so he was making them uncomfortable. It took the entire hour of conversation for him to reach the conclusion that it was appropriate for him to say hello and how are you, and then leave it at that. There are some people who, for whatever reason, just don't intuit or naturally understand the social norms that most of us take for granted. That said, although I do feel kind of badly for this guy, his take is awful and disgusting. He really needs to do some deep self-reflection, probably guided by a therapist, to do better.

My first question to those people is always, "Have you ever been able to be vulnerable with them?" If the answer is no, find people you can be vulnerable with. End of story.
