Coming from a country where smoking was legal at the age of 16 not to long ago and the legal drinking age for beer and wine is 16 and for liquors and spirits is 18. The American laws always seemed so unreal to me, but know that I'm in my 20s and looking back, I find it way more reasonable

He actually was my best friend when I was 12-15 and always a close friend so for me it honestly feels like the kind of thing that happens in a romantic novel or something, he makes me feel like I'm in a fairytale lol makes me so silly and happy. I found out my ex was a serial cheater December 29 2019, and although I still have some anger and regret, I am so much better in so many ways and have grown a lot as a person since then. The main thing that bothers me now is that no one seemed to see how messed up that was. It has taught me to always speak my mind when it comes to something like that. Anything I feel is morally wrong, I will say something.

I asked my mom (a Christian woman) once, "In a biblical marriage, why did the woman always leave her family to be with the man?" And she answered, "actually in the Bible, the MAN was the one leaving his family to join and take care of his wife. " I have no idea if this is true, but my mom knows a lot about the Bible, so I trust her in that. 😅😅😅
