Ah! That’s definitely the way to do it.

I found that bolt when I had to remove mine, my biggest hardship was lugging that cast aluminum monster from/to under the hood. Them damn plenums have no right to be that heavy 😂

Dewalt makes a locking version of bit holder that’s also magnetic. Your bit stays with the extension and you can magnet the bolt to the bit. Makes this chore much easier.

oh God I hope not but thanks just hit 150k on my 96 f250 5.8W

I had a hard time putting it in then taking it out. It wasn’t that much trouble, but it was a little harder to put back in.

I would agree! It’s definitely a challenge getting it back in.

so take out the annoying one first... and hopefully you didn't need that extra bolt for after putting it back together gotcha

Wobble extension with bendable extension. That’s how the techs did it when I worked for ford..
