But i fiest started watching you on that island gane in the very beginning, and then you had lost your job and i remember you telling your few fans that you were gonna try to become a full time youtuber. Hey, you were talking about being minimal on the building. I thought maybe you could build another "tower" like structure to glide from the water hole to camp. And if you make it to winter, use the same process by just posting another tower next to a creek or something that doesn't freeze. Climb rope, build big fire at the top, boil water in peace, glide back home.

You make me laugh, you make me jump, you're so in the game, it makes it feel so different to watching others, enjoyed your channel for a very long time, absolutely fire 🔥🔥

Vlad I just wanted to remind you about explosive & shock arrows. They are extremely OP, but come with some downsides. I have listed them all here: Shock Arrows: - 2x Battery, 1x Wire, 5x [Type] Arrows, 1x Electronics + Arrow shocks enemy for multiple seconds, allowing for an easy melee kill or weapon switches Explosive Arrows: - Same Cost as shock arrows, but 1x C4 additionally (I recommend always making explosive arrows, since C4 is literally free. You can find 2 of them respwaning at the modern axe camp for example) + Damage from arrow (fibre deals more than stone, still the same) + explosion damage - Arrow is lost (3D Printer cave has 5x fibre arrows respawning every time aswell) When lighting caves with flares, they are op, since you can have a lot of them available, and switching to "the normal arrows" for easier enemies is really simple. I would be careful about the batteries, they are basically the only expensive part about them. I would make sure to have at least 1x Battery left to replace the flashlight. But the game spams them in the 3D printer cave too, so basically free explosive arrows respawning, I guess?

Yea i hope he ends up utilizing a few of these but I'm not sure he will lol I cant say I've ever seen him even craft and explosive arrow and i hope he remembers how to fight the finger monsters at least cause spearing them in the knee and then hitting them is way more manageable. I hope he can remember torches too and starts to figure out more of the cooking or other reciepies too cause the buffs would help. At least its quite entertaining to watch the struggle it will make for an interesting winter.

@@connorjohnson4402 Yeah, we should tell him that he can store the meat on the drying racks and still use the dried meat for the stews. Basically unlimited storage for food. Throwing speers into enemies is weirdly effective too sometimes... Trying to dismember the limbs of cannibals is the best way to kill them, since at that point health is irrelevant. Targetting areas with no armor is really good, sometimes crouching and hitting the legs of an enemy will stun them for like 5minutes lol

now u can catch rabbits and breed them in cages that will help in the food problem and try making a greg in cooking pot

😅🤣 Can't finish the Mcd's jingle because he'll get in trouble, proceeds to do the mario theme song for a couple mins with Nintendo being the biggest suers in all of suing.

Vladd, that slope where you pick up the cash and then it leads down to the water… while you’re swimming down there, if you look to the left, there will be a bunch of arms and limbs floating. If you surface in that side cave, there is a dead merc with cash and grenades

Wall torches are the go for light just a stick and a cloth. You can place a log upright in the ground and put torches on it. There’s also the stick in the ground with cloth and a skull.

TIPs: It doesn't help eating before you sleep, other than wasting resource. Since you have to eat regardless after sleeping, eat then. For water, collect blue berries and regain water in an emergency when your pot/canteen is empty. For light throw up some torches and done with not seeing in caves, below your tree base, etc, etc.

Well i think alot of the times he had too because he was going into starvation and taking damage a few of the times,. Im pretty sure that's one of the reasons he was woken up at night and not the cannibals or anything around the base. But yea i do hope he remembers to make torches, even the hand held one would help out a lot!

Been a while since I watched, been busy with live and depressed and insane lol. But love watching your video, remember watching your OG The Forrest 100 days and glad yo did it with the sequel and hope you keep going.

i have to say...best series yet on sons of the forest. its somthing about you taking your time and really being careful that relates to how i would play the game on any difficulty.

Madd Vladd, you're my favorite channel to watch play games. I've been watching and enjoying your content for years. I have you to thank for getting me into the 1st Forest game, and now Sons of the Forest... I've been watching and really enjoying this super hard survival series... I have 2 suggestions to share,... For Lighting around your base, try using skulls on sticks ( 1 stick, 1 cloth, & 1 skull.. * In that order * ) When you place the skull on the stick It'll face towards you in whichever direction you're facing towards it. Given the abundance of skulls and sack skin pouches you'll have access to thanks to the golf cart + all the patrols, you'll have more than enough resources. And they provide quite alot of light. My second trick to share isn't really necessary given how easily you can dispatch the enemies using the golf cart lol... However, it is a nice battle tactic to implement in the right situation. In my current playthrough I was building a little outpost on the golf course, and was being relentlessly attacked by mud butts left and right.... Besides the golf cart, the next best melee weapon I had access to was the Modern Axe.... So long story short, I was getting frustrated by the tactics of these guys swiping at me while also jumping backwards, making it difficult to hit them at times.... So out of frustration, I found that if I sprinted forward towards the enemy, jumped in the air and while in the height of my jump / while coming back down to the ground I held down the button for a heavy attack while aiming towards the enemy on the ground... I ended up performing a sort of improvised heavy ground pound attack with the Modern Axe. To my surprise and joy, I found that this caught the enemy off guard several times. I managed to land several heavy attacks on top of these agile enemies often taking them out in a single hit. Anyways, thank you for being so awesome and enjoyable to watch. Keep on being you. And thank you for reading my comment even though it's long.

Yea i actually think the golf course is one of the most heavily trafficked locations on the map when it comes to the cannibals, but yea i hope he can remember to use some torches or even try out the explosive arrows.

Always a good day when Mr. Mad Vlad uploads. Surprised you didn’t grab the night vision goggles before you went cave delving. It’s definitely a game changer.

Really enjoying the series! I do like that one idea of incorporating the excavators into the base. Would be cool to use that spot where the two arms of the excavators are almost touching as like a main gate if it could be fortified somehow. Creating a bottleneck w/ traps everywhere.

If you cant find a place to jump off and use the glider, shoot a zipline up into a mountain and equip your glider, then take the zip and fly away! also, you dont have to make one of a certain item at a time, you can put many in the creation menu at once. When i did my hard mode, i built on a waterfall high in the mountains, the flowing water doesnt freeze, the view is spectacular, you can fly away whenever you need, and you can get fish there in the summer. Love the series, and love your videos!

A bomb for that big monster to go through the passage is quick, but you can always poke at it with a spear for it is completely harmless. So if you would decide to use a bomb for a Thigh Clapper, you could.

I got tired of hiking for water in the winter in my game, so I just created a little, fully-stocked "winter cabin" area next to a river.

Also you can open all your skin pouches at once if you put all in the center and que all together

Great place to load up on ammo. Use ziplines to get in and out faster, and attract more to follow you into the water on future runs.

Vladd, I reccomend you to use the spear on the finger mutants. Just melee them in the knee and then switch to the head. It's easier than wasting bullets and then swapping to the axe. Good luck

you know its your favourite youtube series when you wanna postpone watching it because the feeling of finishing it and not having more to watch . I hope this last for a long time. Seriously, this is the one of the most awsome youve done so far, watching the hardcore mode youve chosen and how this really becomes a survival game, like.... litteraly:D damn, havent yet seen the new one here, but Im gonna - it tickles in my belly of joy! :D hehehe=) PS! I used to get water inside caves, filled my bottle and such when winter outside. you just had to go a little further in.

Hey vladd, from my own play through I’ve utilized cooking a lot, one recipe that’s really easy is lumberjack juice, you can get fish from traps and grow the chicory but the recipe is 5 raw meat, 3 fish, 5 chicory, and 1 med, gives all round good sustenance and boosts strength gain and tree chopping. Hope this helps

Build at the base of a large river! Use the river to float logs to your build also you'll have water for winter..

If you can Mark places on the map. Make platform spots with turtle traps in the areas you go most so you can launch outta there when need be.

It would be amazingly helpful if there was some sort of water storage you could build at base. Not the water collector but something you could dump your pot of water into.
