Not a big deal, but at 21:00 just step towards the cows back legs to put a little pressure on her to move forward, eventually they'll know to stop until they go further into the pasture. while calling cattle to knew pastures is convenient, when its time to sell the cows or steers it will be much easier on you if they respect when you apply pressure, you will have to apply pressure when you load them on a trailer or semi.

I’ll go ahead and tell you that your best to have every cow your best friend because let’s say a bad storm comes throw and cows don’t always stick together well guess what if only acouple come to calling and the rest just join them and they aren’t there to lead your gonna be screwed. If any of my cows see me coming they come running because they know something good is fixing to happen and they will walk with me and do whatever I want even down to the bulls..... that trust with every cow is important in case of emergencies. I know you wanna do away with hay and not feed because for 100’s of years but a relationship with cattle is important and that relationship being more then just the guy who moves us lot to lot might become a headache if an emergency happens even if it’s say you get hurt well guess what those cows worked with just you and don’t know feed very much or even hay being your wanting to not use hay.....I know it costs extra money but in the long run it can be a blessing if something crazy happens..let alone say cows get out and to the road and they are spooky of you and run out and a car hits them and your being sued and have to buy a brand new car
