I boggles my mind that people can't look at something and troubleshoot it. Especially something as simple as this.

The exact thing happened to with my old VFR400 NC24, couldn't find a replacement clutch lever, got one for a Hayabusa which did fit but that pin was too long. Non adjustable so I had to shorten it a bit. It had me scratching my head a bit till I figured it out...

the first thing i thought after hearing the previous work immediately was clutch preload. mechanical aptitude is no replacement for experience.. ive never worked on a bike but all the same when it comes to mechanics, just have to understand the system.

I bought a bike and the previous owner had installed a set of levers, the clutch wasnt hydraulic but the plunger for the bmc wasnt properly seated and after a few uses of the front brake it had locked up the wheel because it wasnt releasing the pressure do to improper installation. Moral is dont trust others shotty work
