As a scientist, I’d be more interested in duplicating the proteins in their blood rather than the bleeding. What work is your laboratory doing to duplicate said components?

After 30% blood extraction they don't survive. You return dead crab to sea?

Limulus have an intrinsic mechanism to stop the flow of blood. Lost blood gets replenished soon just as it happens in human blood donation.
