Great talk ! If only, in my country, the government uses that kind of idea to make school's program's, I wouldn't have to waste half of my time in a week learning stuff that aren't very useful for what I want to do later. Anyway, this video is just awesome !!!

Concentration and Focus are linked, that's it. Because you can't focus unless you care about the thing you are concentrating on...The two are one in the same. I would say it would be a better to say the two key principles here are Focus and passion or whatever you wish to call it, pursuit or whatever you are committed to. They are yin and yang just like everything in life.

I believe as much as it is practice it also about being in a mind set to say "anything that does not get me to my goal, is not important". so when you get that text message you should say if it doesnt get me to my goal the do not engage.

Great Video, Thanks for sharing I had like 1000 goals and did not achieve anything. Luckily, I caught hold of this “importance” mobile app by Lokesh which helps prioritize my goals into 5 types and now I can easily manage all my things. One of the 5 types is delegating which has alone saved my 70% time and energy!

Many successful people have ADHD and they can focus very intensely, but only for a short period of time. So they focus like crazy on one thing, then they switch to focusing intensely on another thing, and then another, and another. And all the things they're focusing on are usually related to their one major focus and passion, like Bill Gates with software.

Focusing on just one thing can make you achieve your goals and be successful, but it makes your life super boring: there are super interesting things to know about in a lot of fields and the knowledge of one area nourishes the knowledge on the other areas. That is why the concept of the renaissance man or multipotentiate is nowadays so trendy.

Only focus on one thing at a time. Once you feel confident in that field, move on (if you want to). You can master a lot of things if you do them sequentially, but if you try to do them all at once you won't master any.

Comments on Leonardo Da Vinci. How do we know that he didn't just FOCUS intensely on many things?? Obviously no one can know since none of us where there. But we can not make the assumption that he didnt focus, just because he did many things. Do you think he didn't focus on painting?? Do you think he didnt focus on inventing? he has books and books of inventions, you cant do that without focus. He was just a rare human that could focus on many things, and off course he was brilliant !

maybe the beginning of your career life or adulthood , because when you were not old enough this would not mean that much to you probably , anyway it is not any kind of age limitation I guess rather stage limitation . I believe you should always start the wildest thinking then narrow it down by time , by stages. anyway catching chances is also a key, many companies do this all the time and I forgive them for their mistakes because I can see myself doing the same. rushing for the opportunity that may rise, I believe this one would be a very clear red big freaking sign in your life that will read " you have to focus now".
