The Immune System, T-Cells, and Covid-19

So far we’ve been pretty focused on the antibody side of things during the pandemic, but recent work suggests that T Cells aren’t sitting this one out, and that could mean something significant in terms of immunity, even for people who haven’t been infected with the new coronavirus.

I had Covid in August 2020. In August 2021, I had my T-cell’s tested against Covid from a lab call Adaptive Biotechnologies. The FDA authorized this lab with an EUA for a test called T-detect. My test came back positive for T-cell memory against Covid ONE YEAR after being infected!

I have NOT had COVID-19 so far and I am pretty sure I have been in contact with Corona-infected people at least once (there was a confirmed case). I have taken all the possible measures against the virus which no mass media tells about such as: taking vitamin D, cold shower, exercising every day, keto diet. And I have not been vaccinated! My recent antibody tests 3 months apart show low level of antibodies, which according to the common interpretation means that I HAVE NEVER COME ACCROSS THE VIRUS, which is not true! So the huge problem is that people are neither informed about other immune system protections nor how it could be expressed in the blood tests.

Does your body build antibody if you get cancer? Of course not. Antibody mainly is b cell job, with cooperation from t cell and dendrite. Basicly t cell kill infected/cancer cell based on 'characteristic' on membrane/outer cell. They dont care 'why' that cell like that. Small infection will not produce antibody. Edit: there is other probability like death virus, and pcr test cant detect if the virus can infect or not. Its hard to tell because most healthworkers still believe "shit-standard" from who.

Maybe u got sick 2 years ago and it was covid before anyone knew it was covid.. I remember I got sick in end of dec 2019. Longest lasting sickness I've ever had but not severe. Looking back it felt like covid symptoms. No one knew about covid then untill around Feb. and never got laid of my job who has employees diagnosed with covid randomly through out the past 2 years and I'm not vaccinated but haven't gotten sick since then. Maybe that was covid and got introduced to my immune system. I've never taken the yearly flu shot cause I always felt like that will make my immune system depend on it and weaken my body's army. And if I do get sick I hardly take any medicine, I just rest and eat soup and most the time I will feel better after 2 days

@@dee-g :Same here, got sick December 2019 with all the symptoms (dry persistent cough, sneezing a lot, fever, loss of taste and smell, ect) of COVID-19 but since my doctor didn't know it was COVID-19 (the COVID 19 coronavirus was not well known yet) he thought it was the common flu and within 2 weeks I recovered!

Same with my son of 20 years old. The rest of us got covid in the house and he was certainly exposed to it in the house over several weeks. He had multiple PCR tests and didn’t get covid. But, he has had a lot of colds / flu before when he was younger. He has not had the vaccine either.

@@paulreilly5987 I grew up in poor Asia I remember from 7 to 13 years old, I used to get sick a lot. My symptoms were high fever, chills, vomiting, lost of taste and smell, sore throat, cough with yellowish phlegm, and runny nose. I also remember having lymp nodes on my arm pit. The last time I was sicked with flu/cold was 29 years ago (I'm 42 now) even if people around me were sicked, I didn't get sick...till covid hits us few weeks ago. My immune system dropped so low because my daughter got it first and for 5 days I had sleepless nights and I was very stressed, my husband got sicked, too. My fever only lasted 2 and half days and hardly had any cough at all, I remember I only had one spit with very little phlegm. I was expecting a lot just like when I was young. I also lost sense of taste and smell and a day of sore throat. When I was going thru all of those above with covid I was like... so I was fighting with viruses all those years when I was young. I kinda forgot what it was like. (Lots of superstitious beliefs in Asia when it comes to sickness, too). Had a post covid fatigue for 2 weeks but praise God the Father, the family got well.

We got to look and aproach it outside of isolation. it's not just something we can study. It is not in isolation. It's not something unlike Chernobyl because multiple things have happened, it does matter; the complicated mess we are in at the moment; instead of "there's nothing we can do" there becomes almost too much we could do, could say, could write, it's almost bluring: most people actually become a deer in headlights... its too much, requiring the burden of obligation; (artificial intelligence will be one asset so as long as its managed and not utterly the sole key ingredient) because basically, we can't fuck it up, ok. Cant. There's no going back; after we stop caring, that's why essentially workers propping up the world are heroes and were always heroic, it should have been the lamest of things to joke about just because the food worker, garbage person, construction workers, healthcare workers, fossil fuel workers, ETCETERA need the opportunity to be the fancy way of saying "we're in this stupid crap together" but you know... Thats all we can do, plainly

T cells may combat COVID-19 but are harmless against HIV 😵😬. The immunity after surviving COVID-19 only last between 3 to 8 months, that means that you could get sick again (rare cases).
