I swear, the 2d part against zues is probably my fave bit of the fight against zues.

The qte part of the chamber of flame Zeus fight is so SICK

When David Jaffe saw the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown announcement trailer he said: "Oooh, 2.5D PoP? Yeah! That's what I wanted to do with God of War forever. That's awesome!" And playing that game reminded me how cool that would be. And the game's look is also similar to GoW 1-2. At least for me.

Great vid! Something that I've been thinking of how well GoW uses enviorement and space to create beat'em up encounters with heavy focus on grabs and crowd control. My favourite example is loom chamber with its barriers being sort of a twist on screen borders of arcade brawlers. Not only it adds sense of urgency and claustrophobic feels to it, but can also be used it players favour to seperate enemies or even sneak-in some hits.

All of GOW 2018 and the majority of GOWR are 2D since Kratos can no longer jump

Hey there, hope you're doing well! I've got a theory about "God of War" that you might find intriguing. Let's dive in! Remember that epic cutscene where Zeus unleashes that powerful attack, seemingly wiping out every Titan in sight? Well, there's this green energy effect on the Titans, reminiscent of the time magic Kratos gains after defeating the Sisters of Fate. It's a subtle but neat detail. Then there's another scene where Atlas and Cronos are in trouble. Hades is about to claim Cronos' soul, but suddenly Atlas swoops in and saves him. Now, here's where it gets interesting: I believe the Titan in that scene is Atlas himself. He's got the four arms and even uses a similar ground-slamming attack like Atlas does. But here's the kicker: What if Zeus didn't actually wipe out all the Titans with his attack? What if he only believed he did, while in reality, Kratos whisked them away to the future? Perhaps Kratos couldn't save the ones imprisoned, like Atlas and Cronos, which is why we later see them in the Pits of Tartarus in "Chains of Olympus." And then there's Gaia. She betrays Kratos, but what if she's not done yet? What if she's somehow communicating telepathically (if Athena can come back in a different form why can't gia talk to him) with Kratos from the past (Kratos in Gow 2), trying to alter the Titans' fate and change the course of events in "God of War 3"? cause Kratos literally f***ks every titan It's a mind-bending theory, but it adds a whole new layer of depth to the story. What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Can you talk about sceneries and the world building in GoW? For example the steeds of time and how they are shown every now and then or some places you see from a distance (low quality images) and then you visit them later or how you see Athens on fire on the back of Cronos.

At this point, I'm convinced Zesty can make an analysis video on absolutely anything in GOW. I wouldn't be surprised if he did an analysis video on the skyboxes of GOW or something. Certainly not saying that's a bad thing, though. It's just even more proof of how passionate Zesty is for GOW. Plus, it means more great content for us to enjoy! Great vid, man! Happy birthday!
