The recently retired police Commissioner John said, in response to the five persons gun down in Kingstown in July, that most of the crimes committed in SVG were carried out by less than 100 persons. Given such a relatively low number, all those criminals should have been arrested and interrogated. So far, not one person has been arrested and charged. It is clearly apparent that SVG police are not equipped in all respects to deal with the growing violent crime.

As a Grenadian, the sounds of gun shots brought me back to 1983 during the revolution. U.S goes after anyone who bring drugs into the U.S but no can go after gun dealers from the U.S. The U.S is exporting guns which wreck havoc in other countries.
