Incredible shape Sting is in. That's his reward for completely cleaning himself up in the late 90s and for never being a malicious, backstabbing human being.

This match was incredible. It just goes to show how smart Sting is, because you can tell he and Darby structured this match very carefully, it allowed Sting to magnify his strengths and let Darby cover Sting's weaknesses. And the pace is just perfect, never drags, never rushes, it's just right. You can tell guys like Arn and Tully have lost a step or two, but Sting is just still so crisp, so butter smooth, like a man half his age.

Man, hats off to the legendary Sting. I have nothing but a tremendous amount of respect for the Icon to go this deep at this point in his career. It didn't at all feel like he's 62. It's like he's in his 40s. What a performer. A gem of pro wrestling. I had tears in my eyes after he won the match for Darby Allin and himself. This is the connection that I crave to have for any wrestler.

You can’t watch this and NOT have a smile on your face for Sting! What a guy, he continues to deliver. He moves so well and natural for a guy of 62. The fact that the other 3 don’t have to slow their pace too much to work around Stinger, but he can hang with their pace shows just how much of an ICON he still is. Nothing but respect.

Since losing those tag titles they are in rough ride but i still believe that ftr will gain success with the pinnacle Aew has that predictive fashion of factions They have a lot of factions but only one on the top In the beginning it was inner circle In between 2020 it seemed like dark order was going to be big but that unexpected tragedy ruined everything Then the elite and i am sure that when the time comes for mjf to win that aew or pretty platinum is what mjf says then ftr plus shawn spears will end up winning their respective championships But that doesn't mean that it's ok to waste ftr Ftr should be utilized in a better way The likes of ftr team taz hfo eddie Kingston andrade even jon moxley and there a lot of other guys they need some fresh bookings

While it is always a pity whenever FTR lose, I was again impressed by Sting's condition, he moves and looks (physically, then the facepaint also help) like he was 15 years younger. And the fact he is only performing as an active wrestler in tag team action with Darby who has an opposite in-ring style it surely helps to conceal the obviously limited stamina that even the fitter 62 years old man has to deal with. Also, his victories are not just an old legend taking away the spotlight from younger talents, but also help raising Darby's position.

Agreed. The booking was huge for that, as it usually is: convincing as Sting was, he only had a couple of crowd-pleasing SuperStinger spots, and the finish still felt like it came down to Darby practically killing himself just to eke it out. FTR doesn’t feel the least bit diminished, and everybody absolutely loved the match as a self-contained story. Tough trick to pull off.
