Sting is such a badass. What is he now? 61? 62? And the guy came back from a career ending injury and still wrestles like he's 10 years younger. Sting truly is the icon.

Sting vs Billy Gunn long time ago

Damn Sting and Billy Gunn make me feel like a kid again. Seeing them in a different company working together is amazing. They both look great after years of wresting. Overall, both teams performed amazingly. AEW is very impressive.

First off, I love the face paint of Darby Allin & Sting. Second off, Darby's suicide dives are so smooth and crazy in execution. Glad they won with a Jawbreaker Stunner + Scorpion Death Drop and ended Gunn Club's streak.

I agree. Jim Cornette made a point in which I totally agree: He doesn't do stylish dives to impress. He launches himself between the ropes to actually hurt and deal damage to his opponent, as it is the goal of a wrestling match.

Yup. Right now he's probably the most 'protected' guy in the ring ie he takes the least bumps, and everyone has to sell for him. But that's how it should be.

The son of Billy Gun shouldn't lost that match vs Sting..it was the right time to push the Billy Gun sons,extending this rivalry with Sting n Darby Allin..it could've been a good n very interesting storyline,but now that they lost what?? short rivalry not good..long rivalry is better n that's maybe what Aew is missing long rivalry n not very short rivalries.

Sting and Darby’s face paint both looked cool as hell this week. Loved the tweak on Stings! Also, it’s so cool seeing Sting wrestle on Dynamite and get a win in the ATL!

Sting took care of himself the last 35 years. I'm not surprised he can still go. Just a reminder, Arn Anderson is only 6 months older than Sting.

Darby literally FLOATING off Billy Gunn's body was a fucking sight to see. literally no one in wrestling should be allowed to do suicide dives unless they look as deadly as his. very few people do those dives and make them look as good as he does. props to Sting and Billy though for being 60 and taking bumps and moving like they've always been able to move without missing a beat.

As a 90s kid, seeing Sting and Billy Gunn both perform their signature finishers brought me joy and nostalgia

I love Darby but man he always worries the heck out of me with his dives. His head was clearly bleeding after that first suicide dive. That aside, Sting's AEW run has been amazing. It's inspiring to see him and Billy Gunn perform and look great at their advanced ages.

Damnit I felt like I saw 98 Sting. It's great seeing Sting enjoy what he does, look phenomenal at his age and doing this for over 3 decades, and hit a couple of the best Stinger Splashes I haven't seen in quite some years.

I think AEW made the right choice when they put Sting and Darby Allin together. They work great as a team. But it also allowing Darby to show how good of a singles star.

Sting has been wrestling since 1985... let that sink in

Aew puts on great matches and storylines most of the time I don’t even care who wins Love how they have the old heads getting young talent over and time to shine and grow for when they eventually retire for good

Man, Sting is wrestling on televised shows in 2021 at the age of 62 and his performances each time has been top-notch. Billy Gun is expeditious and a physical monster for a 58-year-old. Darby Allin diving like a bullet. Holy damn, this was such a fun match. Embrace the chance to appreciate these moments. Both Sting and Gunn still have it.

he and jericho are the wrestlers who had the minimum injuries in their career coz most of their moves and matches did not have body blasting bumps. I read soewhere undertaker complimenting jericho to have less injuries, that defines their concern for their own body modern wrestlers should learn this from these two

The matching face paint was awesome. Darby does most of the work, but the little bit sting does means so much! Apparently they train together and are friends in real life... I can't say enough good things... and the Gunn club, man that is a heel team getting heat and getting the other team over without looking weak. Amazing

tony schiavone has the best voice for announcing wrestling i've ever heard, it just pulls you in and makes you feel like you're there or hearing a fabulous story being told.
