The Hyundai Tucson GLS+ - A Diesel Performance Crossover [Car Review]
The 2023 Hyundai Tucson GLS+ is the diesel fed variant of the local Tucson line up, and serves as the top-spec model here in the Philippines. The 2023 Hyundai Tucson GLS+ has a much higher price level than the base trim gasoline variant, and may feel expensive, but when you get to drive the 2023 Hyundai Tucson Diesel, then you would understand why it commands such a high asking price over the Hyundai Tucson Gasoline trim. In this Filipino car review, we take the Hyundai Tucson GLS Diesel for a 2-week drive and get to fully experience it. Since Kia Philippines hasn't brought in the Kia Sportage yet, then the 2023 Hyundai Tucson Diesel is the only diesel-powered compact crossover selling here for below 2 million pesos. The Honda CRV also has a diesel trim, but it retails for 2 million. The Mazda CX5 diesel has also been phased out already, so that only leaves the Hyundai Tucson diesel as the only choice for a diesel compact crossover below 2 million pesos.

Which is faster if you drag race both tucson the gas vs turbo diesel?
That's one of the beauty and advantage of representing cars like that, you always have the opportunity to drive new and nice cars.
for me tucson is the best looking for its segment compact crossover. diesel, push button gear shift,. just Wow, it may have some lack of safety features but still,...WOW

Enjoyed the review and your jovial comments here ant there, I will say the front could have more muscular design on the hood like you said, but the side design is definitely affecting the aerodynamics more than just a styling choice. Anyway we are getting the diesel variant and hope to enjoy it for a long time.

My kind of crossover: aerodynamic design, sleek lines, kinda big for my taste, and good ol CRDi (I may miss out on some features TvT)

At one point I got to 6.2L per 100km... That was on eco mode and long drive.. Had this tucson since September last year
If i compare 2023 nissan terra and this one i would go with tucson because of 186 hp turbo diesel and terra is 188 hp.
I wish they bring here the hybrid version.

We don't have the diesel CX5 anymore so hard to compare. In terms of power, this goes up against the CX5 AWD which is 400k more expensive.
ngayon lang napansin ang tucson pero matagal nayan matulin. basta korean diesels mamaw. so sad lang wala na development sa diesels now

Yeah it wasn't listed on the brochure that it's wireless
With the price of diesel these days I wouldnt run to a diesel vehicle, performance be damned, you just end up going faster, to the gas station.

But diesel in Ireland is cheaper than petrol by up 8cent. I do 180 to 230km per day so diesel is best for me. However you are right if you are doing low mileage

@@104rr i speak good english even americans can't identify if i'm filipino or domestic. Gotta be honest yeah there's a lot of fillers. pronunciation issues but mah man, it's 2023. World is more globalized now, accent and mispronunciations not really a big factor nowadays, So yeah dude pare drop the feeling magaling sa english stunt, and just enjoy these car reviewers' vids as they are.
