This is one crazy hypothetical, even though I don’t think it’ll happen like that. If William did go through the Atlantic into the Caribbean into the EPAC, I bet it would turn post tropical if it passed south of Hawaii since wind shear and other unfavorable conditions has prevented them from getting a named storm from the CPAC list(most notably Hone) In my honest prediction if we get to that name this year in the Atlantic, I think William will probably form in the MDR and curve up north and turn post tropical close to Greenland.

Would be crazy since Winston was a major cyclone in the South Pacific years ago in 2016. Not only that, it had one of the strangest tracks for a tropical cyclone in that part of the world.
