I bought one of these several years ago but then it had a plain wooden handle but same ole dinky sheath. I've not abused it but just got it to see if I liked the design enough to get a TOPS. Turns out the blade shape is not great at any task. I ended up with a kukri and never looked back. Love the channel and my favorite is the budget reviews.

The original tracker was designed by Tom Brown of the Tracker School, he had a knife maker make some and they had his logo of the tracker school and he only sold them to his students. He was a technical adviser on the movie the hunted. That was before tops started making them. The saw part was made for cutting notches in traps and scarring bones. Take care.

@wespozo the Tops is so dang expensive too. I truly believe one somebody can find one at a cheaper price and it still perform very well without having to spend 250 dollars

This dont seem to be to bad of a knife . I ordered it after watching your vid . I did some work on the spine of the knife to make the teeth better . I also did some clean up on the blade side and stropped it . If i like it after doing some playing with it , I will make a good sheath for it and sand and blue the blade . Possibly add a black palmwood handle to is with a liner . The handle on mine came to me nice and tight .

I love Tracker knives. I have a bunch of them. I do not have a Beck. Too pricey. I do have a TOPS and also a Bark River. Those are more reasonably priced for the high end Trackers. Boker also makes a great moderately priced one at about $75. I thought the best deal I ever got on a Tracker was a used Damascus steel Tracker from Poshland. Cost me $25. Up til now that was the least I'd spent. Just used your Amazon link to order the $15 one you showed in this video. Thank you so much for letting your subscribers know of its existence. I really appreciate it. For your next assignment, perhaps find a Tracker where they pay you to take it off their hands. Heck, that's what you almost did in this video!
