Pyramid Lake! Covering over 125,000 acres, making it one of the largest natural lakes in the state of Nevada, we have finally arrived at a place we’ve had on our bucket list from the first time we saw it. Pyramid is the biggest remnant of ancient Lake Lahontan, the once massive inland sea that covered most of Nevada. The Lake is located way in the remote desert on The Paiute Tribe reservation. The tribe has resided in these lands for over 600 years, & play an integral role in the population and health of the great Lahontan Cutthroat Trout.
The first time I saw a picture of the monster fish that live in this lake, I forever dreamed to catch one. The Lahontan Cutthroat is the largest species of cutthroat trout in the world. Pyramid holds the world record fish weighing 41 lbs caught in 1925. Ok, ok, Enough of the history lesson, let's go turn this dream into a reality!! welcome to the hunt the quest for giant cutthroat trout

I have been waiting for this movie to come out ever since I met the Addicted crew at Pyramid. Such a great group of guys to come all the way out to Nevada to catch the big Cutthroat, I don't think they were disappointed. Now back to the movie

Super good right.
Marlin w/ fish-on says "I can't do anything at all right now!" Guide snacking, "whoa." 😅
Those have to be some of the most unique and beautiful trout ever. Great video guys.
Been waiting for you to come here. Moved here 5 years ago, and I'm addicted. My 1st fish was a 10,and my 4th fish was bigger. I try not to handle fish I'm releasing.Tight lines, brothers.
As soon I saw the title to your video, I knew it was going to be Pyramid Lake
I bought a round of ADX micro jigs and micro worms from you guys! I caught my first Cutthroat on them tonight!!! Wish I could share a picture. I’m ADX for life guys! 🤘
actually this is the coolest video you've ever put out
The music with the under water footage was very addicted Alaska!!!
FINALLY! Way to represent the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe and thanks for sharing this epic adventure with us! That Airbnb is totally interesting though 😅 Much love ADX! 🔥🎣
I bought a bunch of merch from the website I can’t wait to get it in the mail tomorrow
I grew up near there and never fished that lake You guys are bad ass
Great fishing adventure, exploring a new fishing paradise. The video was quite entertaining with the drama and suspense of a true cinematic thriller with the mixture of great friendship and great fishing until next time addicted fishing family
Woah, another movie so soon? You guys have been killing it with the content this year!
Man, i was getting ready to go to bed and bam an addicted movie. Welp not going to sleep for a while now😂

Thanks for love it very appreciated
What a beautiful place to fish! Always drop what I’m doing to watch these great videos! Thank you guys! Can’t wait to watch it again with my husband!
This killed me! The house! Jordan and his watermelon! 🤣🤣 Plus info, exploration of new areas and fish, and then fishing endorphin kicks. Well done, guys!! 💪🏻
You guys were lucky to have 2 calm days on that lake. The wind can come up 30mph before you know it sometimes! The size of the fish you were catching is pretty typical for the last 10 years or so. I think you see more big ones when the chub they feed on are more abundant. Nice job!
I might be having a good time catching silvers, pinks and halibut here, but it looks like you're having a blast there! This is a new spot for my bucket list!
Ever since I heard about the Giant cuts hunted from ladders on a fly, I’ve been itching to experience this place. Great video fellas 🙏🏼 Addicted to Staying Fishy!!! 💪🏼🎣👊🏼
Absolutely love your guys content! This is a bucket list lake for me for sure! One day I hope to fish it!

What a beautiful lake and those trout are certainly special
Lot like a lake trout massive body. Beautiful fish!
Catch of the day...the water bottle save @1:08 .... I love pyramid lake..I've camped in the willows for years .
Twitching jigs are bangers in the early fall months out there!
Oh wow 😳, that was outstanding!! It has always been on my Bucket list!!! Beautiful fish n the rebound, doesn't get any better!! What's the matter with Trolls? LoL 😂😆😆😆😆
Pyramid lake is hella cool... Very very desolate. Beautiful country💯
Such a unique fishery and fish. Amazing video crew!
Content has been ON the hook this year!!!! Keep it up crew!
Should've tried trolling some 12'' swim baits. The big fish get caught with the big slow baits or fly fishing the shore line.
How did I not get a notification for this?
The air BNB. I'm bbqin' and walked in on this 😂😂😂😂. A Friday the 13th. Style movie with the addicted boys. Marlin is the scary one but just has to find out what that "bump" was.🤙🎣
Man cutthroat are awesome! From the beautiful ones in high mountain lakes to these monsters, probably my favorite type of trout. Great video!
So cool to see you guys coming down here, just moved to the area from the rivers of California and this place has been my saving grace. Love the videos keep up the drive.
Boy's I loved it,,, Jordan is right,, 👍,,
Epic!!!!! I have some buddy's consistently catch 15's on the banks fly-fishing using ladders
Freaking epic brother ❤😊😎🤘🤘🤘🤘

@@OneWayMX38 you ever go to crane prairie? We were kayaking there Saturday. That lake I’ve heard is really good fishing and it really looks like it! There are a ton of underwater tree stumps and lots of places for fish to hide.

@@kylesalmon31 yes I have and we went out on are friends boat and only caught a wild rainbow trout in three days and the bugs are horrible, above the trees there were like cyclones of bugs.
I absolutely love this the hunt series!
Yessss! Been hoping for this one.
Great movie
This is awesome, I absolutely love this episode need more like this!
They finally named a lake 😝
This was an impressive show!!! I might have to try some brads super baits here in juneau AK for kings and silvers! I definitely want to go hit the pyramid lake and catch some of those big cutthroat trout! My biggest in juneau was 24 inches last year fishing for steelhead! I was slightly disappointed until I realized how big it was. Great show guys! Thank you!!
I started this video early af this morning while I was waiting for thunderstorms to pass so I could fish for some big ass michigan kings with a buddy this morning. And now after a day of the most absolutely lights out salmon fishing I have ever experienced and 2 limits later we are watching this video already starving for our next adventure! I don't even know what I would do between trips if it wasn't for stuff like this!
Man I love every video but a movie is the best and I look forward to every movie

@Text72775 thank you, how to I accept it?
Love the video! ❤❤
Wow finally I knew this was coming. Now you gotta go catch wild Atlantic run Steelhead in Patagonia Argentina and their massive kings.
I like this video. Have you guys ever done a video chasing giant brown trout? Probably. But if not you definitely should.
I'll bet that bait that you vertical jigged would work well in lake Michigan from salmon pack it with some tuna or shrimp and a small weight.
That's one of my bucket list fish. Nice job boys
Awesome guys, maybe you could do a trip to Omak Lk in N Central Wa, big Lahontans in there too
Yea buddy 🤘🏼
Bucket list trip for sure!! And I run the mini cut plug all the time and crush blackmouth and early kings in puget sound they work naked for sure!!
If that’s anything like yellow or white perch on eastish coast they’re good eats especially as breakfast 🤤 yum
Amazing place and fish!!!
Bring the kayaks next time! October, kayaks, vertical jigging, need I say more. 50+ fish days aren't uncommon.
Such a great movie. Great work guys. So jealous. Looks beautiful
you guys should come up to British Columbia and catch some monster bull trout! we catch 30+ inches
Epic thx
This was another great movie, I really like the clips with the underwater camera, they are really cool.
Wow. I’m drooling over how big you could possibly catch. I want to go there. Between the trolls and Ouiji Board I would be so out of there like yesterday.
Fun movie, the fishing and the humor. I would not have stayed in that house!
Wow, what a good couple of days of fishing! Nice job, guys!
Great show guys. Thank you
I live an hour from pyramid. Wish i knew you guys were coming here, would have loved to meet you guys!
When was this video filmed??
I just go stay at my friends house at Palomino Valley down by Reno. you don't need to stay in Sutcliffe, north Reno is 10 miles away.
Best content on KZread hands down
Jordan was nippin with excitement!
You know Jordan was excited because of the pokeys. Two!!!😅
Man what are the chances we get these fish in the hatcheries around the Rockies to get the cutties back in force in the rivers
At 27:53 when you get fish jigging super bait with weight in it was cool. Reminded me of mooching herring for salmon, like you said spins on way up the flutters down.
I grew up in Reno and fished there often
The Air BnB spookyness...some of which is likely related to the "Water Babies" legend of the lake. Look it up if you want. Its spooky
wow that was nuts somebody needs to count how many they caught. 40 50 60 what a trip?
Good stuff, guys!! Caught quite a few myself. Omak is a GREAT lake for Lahontan cutts!!! It's a tribal lake, but there's a Walmart close by that sells tribal licenses......
the best tasting of all trout
Beautiful fish and area !
So awesome guys! Amazing movie! Id love to see a movie in the Rockies for some MASSIVE lakers. Blue mesa res just producd a 78lb laker.
love the lake
I know of a lake that has them in it, tick infested place The fish I've caught in the past there were between four and ten. I don't keep them, they remind me of Dolly Vardon, Bull Trout. One or The other cross with a cutthroat. My guess I don't like the meat but give me a dolly I'll chew on that. Kinda like a steelhead for meat. You notice that bit of slime on them kinda like a bull trout or Pink salmon? You want to cream them next time, use minnow flies. I used Rapala tailed with worms back in the day's also before They started trying to keep them in the lakes And streams. The one's you are catching that are All colored up Are in spawning times remember the salmon are in. Right. Try fishing cresant lake on highway 101, outside, Port Angeles in Washington state. For Beardsley's trout. I've caught them. You won't believe the color of their meat. You are allowed to keep one fish, over 20in, and then taste I in my opinion say for the Trout family cutthroat and Beardsley's you cannot beat the flavor. Be sure if you keep one to ice it asap. You can cast your mepps and panther Martin Dick nite spoon's things like that from shore at Cresant lake . In the summer be aware there are some places where some folks may, lay on secluded spots nude in the sun during the summer. So when exploring the shoreline. Please be respectful of their natural habits. And place of privacy. When you figure out how to catch them with what I Said. You'll watch them come up from the deep steep Bank and either hit your lure or swim around it. But the smaller lures works best there. If you are with someone have an extra pole. That way if it sticks around you can probably get it to hit a newer lure. They Average around 10 to 24-26in. Once you got your stuff wired up right. Good video Guy's.
Then y'all went to burning man!
I love your channel you guys should come to Idaho falls area
I love your videos
That's killer
My boy was in Reno, my city 🤙🏻
You guys are awesome, huge fan. I’m an honorably discharged veteran and was wondering where I can purchase the American Flag Addicted fishing hat that Merlin was wearing?
My brother and I need to get the Addicted crew down to Duck Valley, that would be some fun times!
Yeah there is some great fishin in pyramid.
That air bnb had me dying 😂😂😂😂😂
Jigging with Brads looks like a new strategy. Would like to see more on how he set up the rig. He said lead... just filled it with split shot? Great video!

Yes, just smashed down a few split shot and put them in the head portion of the MCP.
Jordan, don’t ever wear that Dakota lithium battery shirt ever again. 😂😂 Was it cold at Pyramid Lake??😂😂
Oh my!!!!!

In my opinion they are not very good table fair. That’s why all fish were safely released. I’ve killed maybe 4 ever and started fishing there in the early 2000s.
What charter did you all use? Thanks
Let’s go NV!
