My son was born at 26 weeks weighing 1 lb., 13 ozs. and dropped to 1 lb., 7 ozs. We were told he may not walk, talk, or think for himself. He was in the NICU for three months and weighed a little over 5 lbs. at three months old. He is now 36, an AF veteran, an avid golfer, and the father of my two grandbabies. He is my miracle baby! Glory to GOD!

I know that experience first hand. Blessings to you. My youngest son, weighed 2lbs 1oz at around 23 weeks (I was 5½ months pregnant at time-that was in 1990). It's amazing as you say, miraculous even. I know there's probably many stories like this out here, but yours resonated so closely to mine, it brought back both heartfelt and beautiful memories. Thanks for sharing. Love and Light

The most amazing thing to me personally , is that all new life , starts with one single cell . Meaning that single cell , becomes the catalyst for everything that follows . Now isn't that the miracle of life . That one cell .... with a little bit of help from the giver of life in general . That we are constantly surrounded by , everyday of our lives . And yet still the deniers believe that life came about through some sort of ' accident '. Perhaps a flash of lightening , gave the spark that was needed to get the whole process rolling . Literally out of nowhere . For those who believe that train of thought , here's a little question . If you could live for a million years , or longer , and starred at the same spot , all that time , would a tree grow ? Or would a bird take to the air ? Or indeed , would a human being come to life ? Or would that same spot be as lifeless as it was a million years before ? To my way of thinking , the answer to that question is probably yes , it would remain the same . In other words a lifeless void . There would be no life , because life itself requires more than just time or circumstance . It requires that almost indefinable magical ingredient , that some choose to call devine intervention . And I choose to think of as being the great unknown .

My Uncle, who recently passed away at, was always referred to as a MIRACLE…He was born at home-In those days-and the doctor came to the home because it was an emergency. He was born weighing a Little over 1 POUND! The doctor said he would soon pass away & there was nothing he could do & went home…His mother knew to keep him warm & put him in the oven wrapped in a blanket placed in a shoebox on a very low temperature with the oven opened. She also fed him every 2 hours (I think) with a dropper of Condensed Milk…He lived until he was 80 yrs old!! A TRULY UNBELIEVABLY MIRACLE!!!

As a biology and anatomy & physiology teacher, I also go "super nerd" when I tell students about the zygote. I always ask students"After it divides into 2, then 4, then 8 cells, which one is a kidney cell, a heart cell, a brain cell, etc until I have listed more than 8 organs? (Yes, I know that organs contain multiple types of cells, but I'm trying to make a point as simple as possible.) You can actually see the confusion set in as they run out of cells before all organs are mentioned. I use this to introduce stem cells. It seems to work pretty well.

Pretty sure you meant about ten seconds earlier just like EVERY single person that timestamps everything. What is up with that? Lol. Not trying to be a jerk but it was specifically because it landed on the commercial that it seems suspicious... People watch the commercial once but when you timestamp it, they watch it twice. 🤔 If you don't work for them you should lol. That's good marketing.

No, this was not an abortion. They can't legally take a baby this far along . The window of time for an abortion is between 8-9 weeks, as it's only a fetus then, not a baby. This baby wld have died inside the mom, maybe a heart defect, or kidney failure. Maybe the mom died somehow, like in a car accident, or murdered. Anyway, the only way a baby can be kept in a jar, for new doctors to study and learn from, is with the mom's consent. Or the father's, or next of kin, if she died as well as the baby.

How many fetuses are donated each year (in ratio to both child and adult bodies)? I am in awe of those parents who are able and willing to donate for science purposes. Would there be a scientific reason for keeping full intact adult human bodies in large cases (like the fetus?) rather than dissecting them? I saw The Body Works exhibition, but those weren't just kept looking like they just died and were preserved. Would any donated fetus now be automatically dissected? Or might it still be kept intact and preserved? How come the fetus ended up being used in high school teaching before coming to you? How did the science teacher get it? Sorry for all the questions. Fascinating stuff. Keep up the good work!
