Bit of a fun fact the string instrument you guys saw is called a morin khuur (horse headed fiddle) its a really interesting instrument and has become a big part of Mongolian national identity since the end of Communism. There is a lot if effort being made to use it in innovative ways like these guys have so you can actually even find it in rap, pop, and classical music in Mongolia

I love these guys. They have a lot of stuff on YT. They're great people. Go enjoy! Oh, and these guys are music scholars and classical performers. They were famous in Mongolia before they went Metal.

This is indeed the accurate translation of the lyrics, as stated by many on the original video. And go figure, that Metallica shared the link to their cover on social media, amazing. Really, a great band. You should definitely check out more of them. They released their first album 'The Gereg' on September 13, 2019 ps - It's always worth thinking about boobs. Happy new year, hopefully a better one than the last! 🤘

I'm a bit disappointed that there is an distorted electric guitar in the beggining. I know they did it in other songs as well, but more in the background. I think Yuve Yuve Yu is a perfect example of making something metal without that cliché power chords.

I prefer their original songs, Metallica sounds monotonous/boring in comparison. Besides, Apocalyptica already did Metallica covers by cellos, so soundwise there's not much new but throat singing and occasional traditional instrument.
