They were trained classically, their songs are composed and arranged properly. I think people having more music experience, i.e. our elders, could appreciate the outcome more than rest of us.

fallen order here, soon enough this guys will have such a big following not that they dont already, but now half the people at their concerts are gonna be wearing star wars gear lol. Love it

Proud, one might think! They started with traditional Mongolian instruments and folkmusic, infused Metal and made the results their own. No other metal band out there like them. Unique, in all the world, one might say they've earned respect abroad and have reminded us the World Music scene can be a little Metal, now and again.

Fantastic comment! :D Though, to be fair, a lot of Pop pseudo-artists and one-hit wonders have proven that wrong already (Justin Bieber was a YT sensation for some time before releasing an album. I don't know if Soulja Boy ever released an actual album; just singles ). That said, The Hu are the first non-Pop and pre-album group I've personally heard of that have been as popular as they are. My tendencies for online pedantics aside, I'd gladly hold that beer -- er... arkhi ;D

I have a whole CD of Mongolian throat-singing and it is literally mind-altering. So when I first heard these guys it was not surprising to me that they took off really quickly. And something about an Asian man dressed like a warrior swinging that hair back and doing those power moves..OH yeah.

This band is fkin awesome I'm 52 and I've never heard anything like them but hope there's more like them in the future

anyone here for the sheer majestic power of The Hu's music?

Just discovered them, who would have thought Mongolian throat singing and heavy metal would mix so well? I also love the play on their name (The Hu = The Who). The long-haired guy is soooo sexy. I'm 67 and could listen to them (and watch them) all day. Fantastic!!!

Nope the name The Hu doesn't mean "The Who", it translates to the Mongolian root word for human being :)

So often, when a group decides to mix folk instruments and styles with modern electric instruments they fail to properly integrate the two types into a cohesive band. I think the HU has done it really, really well. Really love their songs!

Probably one of the best things that happened in music in past 10 years. This guys are stunning! Can't wait for a album!

Their music wakes up the warrior inside and makes you feel powerful and it's raw and animalistic!!! Makes me feel like I want to pick up the biggest blade I can find and go to war!!! Although I wouldn't do that, but it makes you feel powerful!!!

Last November the band awarded the Order of Genghis Khan, Mongolia's highest state award, for sharing their culture while on tour.

Got to say I’m glad one video game can get me so interested in an awesome band like these fine men.

Thank you for this video!! I’m a 55 year old Granny that loves The Hu!!! I will be seeing them on October 30th in St. Louis!! Can hardly wait!! The last concert I went to was in Las Vegas to see Madison Rising (before they fired the best member of the band, lead singer @DaveBrayUSA)!! I don’t hear too much about them anymore but I do keep up with @DaveBrayUSA. Now I have another metal band to follow, The Hu!! Haven’t been this excited about a band since Rob Zombie!! i liked The Hu before Fallen Order. Heard their song in the opening of the game and was like. Holy fuck. Saw them live at Tons Of Rock this year at 2019. Best year of my life

What

I may have heard all of 3 songs by The Hu so far, but I already love the rolling intensity (the best way I can describe it) of their sound. It's watching and listening a band of Mongols charging into war from afar. I can see them being very popular in Europe with the Northern Euro metal/ rock fans and with a cult following in the US for those of us who like that similar sound.

Super. Absolutely super. I would love to hear the Hu and Alien Weaponry collaborate on a cross cultural effort like Hunnu Guren - Batzorig Vaanchig & Aul.
