The HU: Black Thunder/Sugaan Essena LIVE!! (09/01/2021)

My friends and I finally got to see The HU live - and up close, too! I was grinning ear-to-ear literally the whole time they were up on stage, and it was the most fun I had in quite a long time! The second one of the singers announced they were going to play “Black Thunder/Sugaan Essena”, I LOST it! And needless to say, I had to record the thing. 🤣
Something cool also happened while I was there: Before their performance, I bought a black cap that has The HU’s logo on its front. I was literally the only one wearing that cap, as I didn’t see anyone else get one. So when The HU started playing, one of the singers noticed me, then pointed at his own head as if to say, “You have a nice hat!” IT WAS SOO COOL!!!!
“Black Thunder” (or “Sugaan Essena”) belongs to The HU. The only thing I really own is my POV as well as my mad screaming. 😂

As a Mongolian who lives in Mongolia it's so furstrating to be unable to attend their show. It's been 3 years since their debut and I've never experienced their live show damn. Never mind 3 months after this comment was written. I just worked with them for a day and watched them play live for 9hours.

@@ScreenCandy everyone was super chill. Went a few weeks later to the show in NYC and was in a gnarly mosh pit there!
They will be in Prague, next year, and I'm looking forward to see them live. It will be amazing.

I like that the west is being cool with Mongolian Metal. As a throat singer it brings me pride that the tengri is compatible with the brutality of the north. This is the Central Asian north.
