My name is Chloe, I am 16 years old and I stitch with my Nana, we watch you ladies together like today. (This is Nana’s KZread site, just in case you are wondering. 😊) My Nana and I have learned to cross stitch together and we sit and spend one afternoon a month and talk and stitch. (Drives my grandpa crazy). I am in high school and am very busy with school, cheerleading and softball so sometimes I do not get the chance to stitch as much as I would like to but my favorite way to stitch, other than next to Nana is to put on my headphones and listen to a book. I really enjoy watching both of you and really love Charlie, he is so CUTE!!!!!. Grandpa says I have an old soul because I really like to crochet and cross stitch but would like to see some ideas based around us younger stitchers, if there is such a thing, but would like to do a piece with little things that relate to things I have done, places I have been etc. Deb I know you have your piece you are working on, but where did the idea come from and how did you plan it out. I am both so happy for you, Chloe, and jealous of your closeness with your Nana. My Nana lived in the UP while I grew up in South Texas. I'm 50, so you know I grew up pre video-calls, internet, and all that. You, or you and your Nana, should start a KZread channel. You could bring in the younger folk and y'all could share ideas based on the teenage interests.

Oh Chloe! So wonderful that you stitch with your Nana! And so very special for BOTH OF YOU! Lucky Nana that you devote some time from your busy life to stitching with Nana. And so happy to hear of your”old soul” learning to crochet and cross stitch. It is heartwarming to us oldies (70s).. I learned from my grandma and dream of one day maybe teaching one of my little grands (only 2 and 5 now)

I love this! I spent so much time with my Nana as well. When I was in my 20's, I had Wednesdays off of work and would pick her up every week. We would do crafts together (mostly crocheting), go shopping, play cards or other games, and so much more. Those days are some of my most fondest memories and I think of that time often. Yesterday would have been her 104th birthday. She's been gone 27 years but I still miss her.

This warmed my heart! I was very very close to my great grandmother. What I wouldn't give to sit next to her stitching and visiting. I lost her 8 years ago. I am 44 and get teased and criticized for my "old lady personality " but if you ask me the world needs more stitchers . More crafters and women who love to cook, clean and care for their families. So you just keep enjoying your stitching and love on your Nana as much as you can!

Satsuma Street has bright fun stitches. Nimue has cool designs for all ages. Shannon Christine has great stitches, too, that might be fun for the younger stitchers. Lola Crow has SALs that are awesome....Haunted Library and others, that you might enjoy.

I am within spitting distance of being 71. Iove your flosstubes, I haven't missed 1 since I discovered it. I have so many buddles of backing fabric that I would love the organizer, that way it would all be together in one neat bundle.

Beautiful finishes as always. It was my pleasure to send you something from my Costa Rica, the flower in Debb´s needle minder is the National Flower "La Guaria Morada" and "Pura Vida" is a slang we use for everything that means pure life. Magnifiers are great help so we do not hurt our eyes. I use the Daylight Halo 5D and it is great. The mini baskets are so cute and perfect for finishes.

Hello ladies!!! I have a story that involves the word for the little house patterns. Many years a go I had gone to a relatives house. it was around the festive season and there were a few cards on display, I picked up this one which looked really pretty and as turned it around on the back it reads "To cuddly bundle all my love Lex" I can't look at her even now without thinking about it!
