I LITERALLY FINISHED THIS BOOK LAST NIGHT OMG. I absolutely HAD to click on this video. No spoilers but these were my thoughts: It was okayyy. I enjoyed how strong the female characters are, but the characters are very basic in my opinion. I felt like I was reading a Lifetime channel movie lol. This was my first Freida McFadden book, and I don’t think I’ll read another one of her books for a while.

No lol. I almost started with “Housemaid” but the title of “Secret” sounded so much juicier. Maybe one day I’ll go back and read “Housemaid”

I ❤ the first book! I just finished the second one. The second was good, but not as good as the first one. Millie is that girl I just got tired of the repeated “once I tell him my background”. That baby calling Mille mama had me hollering especially when she saw the lady on the street. I was ticked at how Millie’s character was because I was expecting Millie from the first book. But nevertheless, in the end Millie is still that girl! I was screaming when Marybeth did some things! 😂😂😂 I’m definitely getting the 3rd one. I just wish she change the cover

She was definitely getting on my nerves about the background crap. Like girl.. just tell him. 🤣🤣🤣 I still crack up about that baby calling her mama 💀💀 I pre ordered the 3rd book. Why don’t you like the cover? 😆
