HOD 1 and 3 were fac scarier for me as a kid than any RE games. Especially Hangedman and Fool bosses.

GAP jeans FTW, since Curien made these jeans for his son to wear to cope with his diease, his son wasn't comfortable wearing them due to the fact that they we're extremely narrow and tight he decided to cut losses and cover the zombies' private parts with the overhyped pairs of jeans It was so disappointing though I wanted a pair

Damarion Johnson That boss always killed me when I played this game at my local arcade ._. reloading in THOTD3 was also annoying as I tried to deal with that boss. Cocking the shotgun every 3 seconds really wore out my trigger finger.

Hiro Farre Yeah. Plus, in the arcade there the arcade there was no cursor so it's harder to aim for the sloth boss.

I always had so much fun fighting teh Sun and its unique pattern of plant attack including throwing those explosive flowers you had to shoot all before shooting it again, a great unique boss indeed.

Even though this is an arcade game from years ago - I have never played a game that has made me so paranoid.

Geezm the spread on that shotgun is insane.

It's a shotgun after all...

I only remember seeing the arcade cabinet once in a seafood restaurant in New York. After that all I saw was either House of the Dead 2 or 4.

I remember the good old days when it took place in a house...a house of the dead.😂

I wish this game offered a widescreen option on PS3. Are there any hacked versions of this game that play in widescreen by chance?

1. Who do you think the "Mystery Man" is (as seen in the first level and the special ending)? It can't be Papa Ceasar, Goldman or Curien because they're all dead. I think it could be Harry Harris because he's limping (from his injury in HOTD 2) and Thomas Rogan's reaction implies he knows who it is. 2. And yeah . . . the dialogue/VA isn't great, but at least it's not as absurd as it was in HOTD 1 & 2.

I feel that House of the Dead 3 is the best one out of the series. Simple plot, best voice acting, not being too graphic or scary with the style, zombies and bosses, great climax as well as the bookending effect, great graphics and quality, and I personally prefer shotguns over gun or machine guns. Thornheart saw the death of two comrades; Dr. Curien & Goldman... Walking through the building with carrying the virus 🦠🦠🦠 knew that Dr. Curien's son; Daniel deny his existence...

This was good for its time. The security guard was my favourite boss because I respected how persistent it was. As for the giant sloth boss though well ……. I thought sloths were supposed to be slow and lazy ? However at least the voice acting is better though

+Albert Chavez Right now, it's pretty much impossible to emulate the original arcade version of House Of The Dead 3 and the arcade place I go to originally had the arcade cabinet, but not anymore. The only versions of House Of The Dead 3 I can play are the PC and Ps3 versions.

No. You can use the ps3 controller. You just fire with R2 and reload with square.

Ok guys... I'LL explain it to you... We call it SMSG-13 Here at the AMS... It's a bit heavy, but it's capable of chambering .32 gauge shells. Not only that, it has an intergrated choke to narrow the spread of the shotgun. Consider signing up for the AMS sometime!
