A classic arcade shooter, The House of the Dead "is one of my favorite childhood games. Every time I went to the arcade in a shopping mall, me and my brother played this game trying to beat it with a coin. At that time, it was difficult for me, especially when there had a bad calibration of the light gun in the game, or simply the arcade steal my coins.
Whatever, I decided to play it again to remember that mix of action and horror that I felt for that game.

Just think... when this hit the video arcades in '96, games like Space Invaders seemed ancient... now the same age gap exists with this game today... boy time sure does fly.

I'd love to get this arcade cabinet in my house one day.
My guy woke up, went to a mansion full of horrors and monsters with unlimited ammo, and went to work.
Still my favorite arcade game of all time.

THIS (and Carnevil) was the go-to game in the arcade at my mall before they mindlessly closed it down. Like, I KNOW home game consoles killed small town arcades, but it still feels like an arcade is necessary in ANY mall anywhere. I'll die on that hill.
He is a true Professional cause i did'nt hear the RELOAD sound Effect.
I remember beating this arcade with one go... Good times.
I find it strange that the civilians that were l ocked in jail with zombies managed to stay there and were onl y attacked when Rogan went there.

It is a "glitch" that they did it on "purpose" since that same bug remains in the 2022 game. For me it is funny.
4:10 so is it safe to say that there parts in this game that are absolutely unavoidable to taking damage?

Today you can find it on Google. You need: The Sega model 2 emulator, and the hose of the dead (THOTD) game rom. On KZread you can also find tutorials on how to correctly emulate the rom.
