Quickly llewelyn strode to the cradle, as gelert was dead

Thank you for another version of this story. I read it first from the book of dogs, an annotation, a short story on a page or two from the childcraft annual.... worldbook series, along with the magic of words, and such, .... this became part of my mythos, my stories, I told the children, we all cried.... so often.. Alpha was a good story recenty, but this one story, was the best, and most tragic. I still cry at 46, it seems true, and I sometimes want and yearn for both true or not... but still, a great story of our best friends and companions.

Oh that was so sad...
