Spybait to Juvy is my Smallie goto. Unbeatable combo.

Best one to date Travis! Great Lakes finesse baits work extremely well on SM and LM, but also works for walleye.

Incredible episode guys! I thought I knew a lot about the brand - but I know way more now!! So interesting to hear about all the details that went into the baits. Most interesting was the hanging jig head differences.

So refreshing to check interesting bass stuff for northern body of waters made and design by Northerns. I mean I have nothing against Southern guys (I’m jealous of your 2 digits bass!) but it’s not the same North of the border, so having guys like you is a blessing for us. Thank you Homie.

Sneaky underpin needs a slightly beefier hook if possible

Other small finesse underspin's with beefier hooks exist on the market. Ours is intentionally light wire so you can get good hook penetration with light line and long medium light rods. With a more stout hook, you need more force to get good hook penetration which is very hard with ultra finesse line and rods. We typically use 6lb braid to 6lb fluorocarbon when fishing these. Anything heavier than 8lb test and you risk bending out the hook on a stiff drag. Hope this helps!

Longer wire for blade - or repositioning so you can be more versatile with baits. Having to only put a small pintail bait on a 5/16ths oz head is a little disappointed And GLF undersping prior to the” sneaky “ underspin was absolutely trash. Had zero wire, very easily rusted /bending hook..shame. All they hype around this company but when your fishing for trophy smallies in a river thats littered w 4 crawfish species ..the snack craw and juvy craw have brought in 2 3lb smallmouth - which is quality size, but I’ve thrown them almost every outing as the craw hatch is coming to its peak, I was throwing it prior to them being absolutely everywhere, honestly i got more fish on a Crapala Crush city bronco bug on a swing head. And a heck of alot more of a simple TRD which I never throw/ I hate throwing, but now I use this sit-hop, burn, kill. Technique and it’s triggering a ton of bites so i started doing that with a baby z/too… and it’s been killing it for me. Oh that another compatable bait for the underspin- the baby z/too. But is that all it’s good for is 3” or less straight tail baits?

Sneaky underspin has been a huge disappointment for me, a underspin LOVER.. I found the drip minnow works well on it, but if I try anything bigger in size , that blade does nothing. I finally found a 3.5 spunk shad pairs really well with it, telling my that even the 5/16ths head needs a small pintail baits the 3.3 keitech was still overpowering the head and blade.. and I hate going to the 2.8 but i COULD. Any recommendations on other baits that pair well with it?
