I live in Miami and I have no idea why I'm watching this video but this man has kept my attention for the duration of the video and that is a great sign. I really wish we had educators like him in our education system down here. Very informative, and I love the way he speaks. Great energy!

EX-CELL-ENT! Very good teacher. Straight forward. Sensible. Let's have more lectures from Professor Knottenbelt put up on videos so those of us at a great distance can learn from him. Well done!

I'm enthused about this very entertaining and 'keep-it-clear-and-simple' way of teaching. I'm a hoof practioner myself and had 2 years training on the matter - but I always found it very difficult to explain the effects of laminitis to horse owners. Thank you very much for your contribution to this severe topic. This will help a lot to understand things much better.

Great lecture, I had a Cushing/chronic laminitic horse and I've done a lot of research on laminitis and Cushing's Disease but I hadn't considered the effect the tendons also have on rotating the hoof. You can never stop learning ^-^

Thanks so much for sharing your Vital information on the Horse’s Hooves and how sad it is to know what severe pain these animals are in and yet have the courage to still walk on such inflammation and pain. We did not realize who detrimental this condition is for them and 99.99% of them do not become wholesome Just the ability of keep going on with Hopefully less pain. Very informative. 🎉

Interesting I came here because of a case where a horse had been mistreated and the hoof had done just this. What the prof/Dr saying here sounds similar to a human ingrown toenail. Only criticism of the video is the touchy feely with his female students might be considered wrong in light of recent disclosures around the work.

why cant owners of horses that have laminitis , that are prone to the condition due to sugar intake . be offered by vets a glucose meter or something similar that humans use for diabetes , so we can be more precise at the onset of a lammi episode .. also laminitis caused by septicaemia or toxaemia was not covered . and as for his saab he must of been daft enough to buy it and get it delivered to his house without an engine as to take an engine out it would need a scaffolding and block n tackle to get it out and he would of herd it .. Karen from Liverpool .

Reading alot of the posts people talk about the quality of this teacher. He is indeed good at keeping ones attention. But the fact is the quality of students has tanked. With social media and the hip hop thug culture glamorizing material wealth instead of knowledge it's no wonder public schools are in the shape they're in.
