According to wikipedia, his mother Jane wanted him to join The Mickey Mouse Club so that he could stay in school. Little did she know, her son was bullied and disliked at junior high school for having time off class for auditions and acting assignments. So Nick chose the band which in the long run worked out.

PAbcentral ______ as a group BSB will always be the best not because they came first but actually they have the talent, also NSYNC they’re good on their own way , but for Justin it’s different, Justin when he started his solo career he had dope producers like Timberland and Pharrell.... he worked with Michael Jackson’s producers, his first album was just the rejected songs by MJ , plus he used his relationship with Britney

What happened to BSB and N'Sync has been happening since the beginning of time. Look at Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, he got screwed over big time bad and co wrote along with his Partners "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" that was featured in American Graffiti and covered by The Beach Boys & Diana Ross during her RCA Years, he could have sang all the way to the Bank but he didn't. Then he dies in 1968 of a Heroin Overdose, then The Jackson Five audition in Motown in 1968 in July. The Singing, Dancing and Choreography was done at Motown in the 1960's, and it continued with The Popstar Franchise and then with K-Pop most notably BTS and those kids go through more intense training. Maurice Starr knew he'd make more Money off of Five White Kids than Black Kids. Next year New Edition will celebrate 40 Years as a Group.

The Backstreet Boys & *NSYNC may have been more successful near their formation if they were more of an R&B group 4 the time being. BSB actually began w/ an R&B sound, which was urban enough 2 get them an appearance on Soul Train & a song on the Booty Call soundtrack, but both groups would've been better off back then as white teenage versions of the Temptations 4 the early-mid '90's

SHEEZZZ that big (BAD WOLF) "pops" is sounding like a pimp besides the money hungry opportunistic cousin of a famous singer music star wannabe... (from the earlier part I saw earlier today, which might have bored me, or I had something else to do, since I never skip a 20/20 true crime story... but, came back to this by chance, found part 3 in suggestions,) it was all news to me about the Backstreet Boys Back-story, then coming up with NSync which I really liked a lot, phenomenal bands, awesome singers, the creepo got that part right, in putting them together, at least.... Sadly I didn't get to see the ending - last part NOT SUPPLIED, as per usual, thanks A LOT ABC America tv people !! I will have to wait or look it, since the linked ones DO NOT PLAY down here in Australia !!

Also, in terms of a pimp, I mean by prepping and posing/exposing or getting the boys (in states of semi undress,) to show their bodies more for girls to ogle them, shirtless.... (Ok I wont lie, 98° I would have liked, and did enjoy, a bit later, seeing eg Nick Lachey as a boxer, shirtless, as grown men ! but,) THEY were still boys then... I guess the Leery sleeazoid may have had the thoughts on them, like to project what effect on a teenage girl a shirtless cute singing/dancing music idol might have, after seeing them get drenched in a music vid ... ((Its a wonder he didnt make an all boy soap, or reality tv show about the lives of boy bands living & touring together, or boyband members playing parts as guys trying to make it as singers and actors or something, anything that facilitated & required them to be walking around shirtless!! So he could watch them, disgusting creepy bastard))
